He Is Risen!

Governor Palin posted the following Easter message via Facebook:

Easter is the celebration of what hope really means. In Jesus’ triumph over death through His resurrection, we believe that death was defeated and hope became the expectation of eternal life with God.

Hope is the great driving force in many of our lives, and it has been the driving force in our country’s history. America has always had a strong sense that God’s providence is abundant, that no challenge can ever be too great and no enemy too strong. It was this hope that inspired us to carve a nation out of the wilderness, to appreciate opportunities to responsibly utilize nature’s resources, to engineer skyscrapers towering over our gleaming cities, and to fly to the moon.

As a country and as individuals, we can always have true hope to guide us. Our best days remain ahead of us. And working together we will leave this country to our children a better place than we received it from our parents.

On this blessed day let’s remember our Lord’s sacrifice that led to the Resurrection; and from the whole Palin family, have a wonderful Easter!

Merry Christmas And Feliz Navidad!

Santa Claus is coming to town
This Santa Claus rides on a scooter; ours rode on top of a fire truck!

PREEESSEEENNNTTTSSS!!!!

We woke up to a house full of presents (thanks, Santa Claus!)  By the way, Santa Claus was spotted in our neighborhood-on top of a fire truck!

We got our familys’ presents piled up by room, and as usual, the head of the household is having lots of fun setting up stuff for the kids, and for us. We had visit from family members to sleep over last night, which made it even more exciting.

I hope you had a great Christmas morning just as awesome as ours.

With all our hearts/Con todo nuestro corazón,

Merry Christmas From The Palins!

Merry Christmas to All!

by Sarah Palin on Friday, December 24, 2010 at 3:50pm

Christmas is a time of sharing with family and friends. For Todd and me, that means spending time with our children, parents, grandparents, and siblings, gratefully acknowledging God’s blessings and sharing them with the people we love.

Ronald Reagan said Christmas was a “state of mind, found throughout the year whenever faith overcomes doubt, hope conquers despair, and love triumphs over hate.” On this Christmas Eve, let’s be thankful that we live in a country known for striving to embody these values. And let’s be grateful for the brave men and women in uniform who have fought to defend our values and who may be spending this Christmas far from home.

On behalf of the entire Palin family, I wish you a very Merry Christmas; and may the new year let you realize the promise found in 2 Timothy 1:7!
