Today Is The Anniversary Of OBM Fatima’s Last Apparition
October 13th was the last day that Our Blessed Mother, Our Lady Of Fátima appeared to a crowd of approximately 70,000 people. God provided Her with the famous “Miracle Of The Sun” where many converted, repented of their sins, the sick were healed and Her messages came true.
I may be wrong, but I have a question: Does anybody believe that Fátima’s prophecies will come true again? History is repeating itself so I ask you to pray, pray the Holy Rosary daily if you’re Catholic; pray if you follow other religion.
It’s not wrong to cast aside doubts but have the peace of mind that you ask for the Lord God graces, and Our Blessed Mother for intercessions. Please no bickering on this thread! All paths lead to God and we must join to defeat the evil one.
She has given this message quite often: “My children, heed my call.” This is a special day! Watch the classic black and white Fátima movie, or the newest one, “The 13th Day.” Spirit Daily posted a link to Portugal‘s Fátima Shrine live cam which you can access here. I was very lucky to “attend Mass” online.
May God shed grace upon Thee!
Love, -TPE

Steve Jobs’ Stanford Address: Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish
If you haven’t watched his Stanford University’s Commencement Address, please do so. Print it, and reflect on his message and his advice to find love in what you do; a very inspiring speech. Stay hungry and stay foolish; succeed is around the corner.
The world still grieves Steve Jobs’ departure from this world. We all knew it was coming, but still when it happened, the world stopped spinning-for an infinitesimal second.
America became enraptured with Jobs’ love and creativity of his signature technology. Millions around the world need and use Apple instruments to communicate, share pictures and now have some FaceTime instead of texting away. Apple revolutionized the market and pressed hard on the rest of the competition and everybody benefits in the end because now the world is quite accessible.
I learned how to type on a Macintosh, and still ingrained in my brain is the startup sounds, and the buzzing sound of the A:/ drive when it ejects the floppy disk. Windows quickly followed suit, and is still an incredible monopoly; corporations are quite forced to update and increase their productivity through Microsoft software, their upgrades and other nick-knacks.
Both Apple and Windows give us people with incredible skills that are often either very needed, or typecast-the nerds, or geeks. Right now the best way to describe many of them are “home brewers” – developers that create those “apps” for smartphones and tablets. There’s nothing short of amazing when immersed in a software engineer or a developer’s mind, where they make the difficult sound extremely easy and get us folks out of trouble and rescue us from a meltdown.
I don’t want to take away from what’s to come; our current crop of extremely talented individuals that now emerge from Google’s Android and HP’s Palm WebOS give the consumers a gamma of choices that can only come with healthy competition. IBM goes as far as 1911 and still trades strong, but in the seventies Apple kicked in, and now in 2011 we hold a thin computer in our hands.
And for that Mr. Jobs, I thank you very much.
Additional Note: Since I have a TouchPad and was hoping for a makeover with Meg Whitman, I am very disappointed-she’s still agrees with the kill of the TouchPad’s WebOS. Now she has to cut outrageous salaries; dissect HP, and make it profitable and hopefully change her mind to improve a good product.
West Still Open For VP
Damn, damn, damn! There goes the Palin/West 2012 ticket that I was salivating for! I hope that whoever ends up being the official GOP candidate, grabs this guy and put him in his/her ticket (Bachmann has not quit but she’s not off the race as I speak).
