He Is Risen!

Governor Palin posted the following Easter message via Facebook:

Easter is the celebration of what hope really means. In Jesus’ triumph over death through His resurrection, we believe that death was defeated and hope became the expectation of eternal life with God.

Hope is the great driving force in many of our lives, and it has been the driving force in our country’s history. America has always had a strong sense that God’s providence is abundant, that no challenge can ever be too great and no enemy too strong. It was this hope that inspired us to carve a nation out of the wilderness, to appreciate opportunities to responsibly utilize nature’s resources, to engineer skyscrapers towering over our gleaming cities, and to fly to the moon.

As a country and as individuals, we can always have true hope to guide us. Our best days remain ahead of us. And working together we will leave this country to our children a better place than we received it from our parents.

On this blessed day let’s remember our Lord’s sacrifice that led to the Resurrection; and from the whole Palin family, have a wonderful Easter!

I’ll Give Glenn Beck A Pass

I watched the 8-28 rally in DC, as millions around the country did-I watched it on C-SPAN. I was in a catch-22 yesterday, since months ago I decided not to watch his TV show because of a bill he didn’t like, but I support. He took the message across radio and television and was not fair and balanced because he did not interview the author of said bill.

Well, since it was after the fact, I decided to watch the show; I expected more information on the rally and I wanted to see more about it. I was not disappointed; the video of the fly-by Canadian geese was spectacular. That was one wish I had while watching the rally; a fly-by of the Blue Angels, for example. I understand the no-fly zone rule; in a secret but wicked way I wanted a bunch of “rogue” AF pilots to do a fly-by, just like the Canadian geese did. There are some things you want and can’t have, but God finds a way around it.
Wish granted.

Beck has turned way more spiritual than I anticipated. If it has to do with his eye condition I don’t blame him for that; everybody that has or is going through any physical illness comes to that path, with the forks ahead.

That, or after all that reading and learning process he “got it” and is spreading the core of the founding fathers’ root: God and country, centered and united to be able to deal with all that is coming. Grasp that faith to get the strength of what is ahead.

He said little miracles will happen after 8-28. Mine is: I will give Glenn Beck a pass. He’s coming around full circle now, and I don’t hold a grudge against him any longer. This comes from a person that can hold grudges for months. So yes, to me it’s a big friggin’ deal!

Hey, If It Worked For Scott Brown, It Should Work For Me!

What happened to uniqueness, and authenticity?

Mr. Romney, with all due respect, you’ve been under the radar and pop up like a daisy once in a while.  But this?  Ride a pickup truck (used, presumably) to do some fund-raising?  Did Obama’s economy hit you really that bad?  Or are you trying to pull a Kerry and not pay taxes on a vehicle that suits you better than that?

I went over to HotAir to see what was up and I read that.  I have not grinned this much all week.  It made my day.  Conservatives keep mentioning that he’d not be a good choice for POTUS because of RomneyCare, his religion or his personal finances.  Frankly, he has a bigger issue to overcome and it’s that he does not speak up when Obama screws up.  Mitt Romney does not even put a presser criticizing the Obama administration.  He is a professional, overall good gentleman.  But on these hard times, we need warriors, people that speak up, are able to give it and take it-and give it back twice as hard.  Liberals want to pick our candidate for 2012; but it’s too soon to look that far ahead.
I have nothing against Mitt Romney’s Mormon religion-actually they are quite nice, family-oriented folks.  The fact that they have a totally different belief system falls under our 1st Amendment of the US Constitution.  I have nothing against his money.  He’s entitled to it.  I am just baffled that Mr. Romney (and so many of the Republican members of the party) are not doing the dirty deed, calling it as they see it nor team up with Governor Palin and are leaving her to be.
The best thing is, she does not need a linebacker.  She is actually, a team of ONE.
