Michelle Malkin, HotAir and other big shots in the blogosphere are extremely happy that the Murkowski legacy has come to an end. Joe Miller (R-AK), who has an impressive resume, beat Lisa Murkowski (RINO-AK). This brings down Alaska’s Murkowski dynasty.
Conceding was a last resource for her, but you gotta hand it to Governor Palin. She sees the potential for these upcoming, volunteer folks who are willing to take on DC and solve problems in their own states.
Congratulations to Joe Miller, congratulations to Sarah, and we are waiting for you in Pennsylvania! There’s another dynasty that needs to be taken down, and that’s the Dahlkempers-(D-PA 3rd) you know, the one that got the city of Erie “Stupack’d”. I will post about her Republican counterpart Mike Kelly, a small business owner that is willing to take her down. Can’t wait till Governor Palin visits and tries the good hearty meals country style, home-made and come fishing-heck, she can fire some rounds at our moose/bear theme family’s cabin!
Joe Miller, the new Alaska Tea Party candidate who was also endorsed by Governor Palin has come back from losing to almost taste the sweet flavor of victory. It’s still too close to call. We need Murkowski either to concede, or to have the primary finalized for Alaska.
Click on the Alaska link (fyi-only has these two individuals) to see the whole breakdown of all the primaries held yesterday.

Today, Palin is out with a recorded telephone message on behalf of Murkowski’s opponent, Joe Miller, that portrays her insufficiently conservative. In the message, Palin praises Miller — a Tea Party favorite who suggested, in an interview on Top Line, that unemployment benefits “are not constitutionally authorized” — but is most emphatic when she attacks Murkowski.“Joe is a common sense conservative who understands the founders wrote the constitution to limit the power of the federal government. He’s got the backbone to confront Obama’s radical agenda,” Palin says. “By contrast, Lisa Murkowski has voted with Democrats more than any Republican up for re-election this year. She’s waffled on the repeal of Obamacare, co-sponsored cap-and-trade and voted for TARP. Joe Miller has the right ideas for Alaska. Join me in voting for Joe Miller on August 24.”
