Optimism Vs. The Progressive Way

There’s fear in the air and it’s Nancy Pelosi’s scent.

At this moment she is meeting with all the females to make sure she gets a “YES” vote on Obamacare.  Deals are being made, promises too and if there are any sell-outs, I cling to the hope that it’s nothing insanely stupid.  Dennis Kucinich is another treasure that will hold a presser today too, (suspense in the air right now) to announce the way the aliens land their spacecraft.  I am not holding my breath on this one.

Yep, I just watched his presser (Vulcan salute from me) and definitely, he’s done the pancake maneuver while subconsciously letting us know the Persuasive Power Of The O.  What the heck is on AF1 that is so…persuasive? 

Everybody in the MSM is trying hard to figure out who’s voting for it and against this “bill”.  I have written in other blogs that it seems like Las Vegas is holding a gambling chart on this non-existent bill.  I wonder if Mr. Kucinich read the student loan takeover and agrees with that one, too.  He did not mention that in his press conference.  I wonder how his Cleveland constituents feel about his switch-a-roo.  I am awaiting results from Kathy Dahlkemper who was a “YES” to an “Undecided” but right now, who knows?

The best way to do anything is to contact your senator/representative by any means possible, be polite, have all the facts with hard-evidence to back it up (i.e., bill quote, page, item).  There is pessimism in the air, and more and more Americans every day believe that this thing will be passed this weekend.

I am cautious and not gonna be pessimistic.  I am not gonna drown myself in a glass of water.  It’s time to not be insanely obsessed because we’ll all end up with neck and shoulder pain.  Why?  Because I am not going to let the Progressives get to me.  Because I believe in the sanctity of life.  Because I believe that I don’t want to be fined because in my family we reject Obamacare. 

After all it’s said and done, when we pull up the paveway to look at all the worms, slugs and garden cockroaches, we will remember who we voted in to Washington.
