The Battle Of Christmas Has Won!

I am very happy to see that slowly, but surely we are getting our “Merry Christmas” back!

Everywhere we went in our city, rarely we heard “Happy Holidays”. Most folks at the mall, Target, and Wal-Mart were decided to bring our Christmas spirit back. And you know what? It felt great!

It made it rewarding for shopping, for putting up with our parking mess, and splitting with our Christmas recipients (that was so much fun!). Try hide presents for each other in the same car!

As usual, there’s gonna be some revision of some receipts that might make me go back and exchange/find out if I lost a present somewhere, some way, somehow. Which will set for Christmas Battle Stage 2: The loooong lines BACK to exchange whatever didn’t fit/kids didn’t like/more games for after-sales specials.

It is just amazing that right now as I type, I am watching “The Greatest Story Ever Told”, which I am not particularly fond of, but c’mon, that is for Holy Week, not Christmas! Regardless, that is a very thoughtful moment in the life of Jesus Our Lord.

Many of us just stayed home. Many of us also had to make multiple stops to share Christmas with family and friends, along with a hearty meal. Can’t help but think of our soldiers and their families, split by distance and duty. Accomplish their duties, their mission, and do their best to come home in one piece.

Thanks to Bill O’ Reilly and the folks at FOX News, which presented some programming that touched our hearts. I also went on YouTube and looked for Christmas songs. I am now gonna go to sleep but I did not want to just leave it here and wish you a very Merry Christmas…that your wishes were all granted, that Santa (who we tracked via NORAD) was great.

I will sleep happily after my Christmas was enjoyed by all.

Sweet dreams!

The Media-Hungry POTUS Copycats Sarah Palin-Again

For a woman who cannot read, who is an idiot, inexperienced and cannot write, Obama is following Sarah Palin very closely.  Obama is not afraid of this poll or this one ; he’s afraid of Sarah’s favorable polls over his.

With 3 million copies of her best-selling book, “Going Rogue, An American Life”-gone platinum-and a book tour where thousands waited in line since 5:30 in the afternoon (thanks to C4P for all the hard work!), just to see her and get her autograph, Obama’s feeling the heat (or the chills) of Sarah’s continued rise to redemption.

Sarah Palin, along with her family, traveled by bus and plane all over America.  Venues like Sam’s Club, Costco, Barnes & Noble and Borders were swarmed with all types of families, and of all types of backgrounds (no matter what the MSM may tell you).  Several Army bases embraced Sarah as well, along with a private visit to those troops that have sacrificed so much for us.

Obama, at first, had a speech prepared for him where he takes some pointers from Sarah’s Facebook page.  Just a few moments ago, he was inside a Home Depot with a speech given to him about energy independence, jobs, and home improvement.  Oh, really?  All bills, all speeches and no specifics.  Every day us in the blogosphere are wondering, where’s all this money going?  How many times do we have to listen to Rush Limbaugh ask this question, and answering it himself?

Our President has to stay away from our TV sets, and actually work.  Imitating Sarah Palin to ride her coattails will not improve his polls, and will not gain favor in his polls from the Independents that are jumping ship, and Democrats that are questioning his moves.  Republicans are not speaking louder and most Conservatives look up to Sarah for all of our country’s real values.

Hey, President Obama, I have a suggestion for you:  Why don’tcha take in Steve Schmidt as a campaign advisor?
