Wyclef Jean Is Team Palin

I am very pleased when artists and movie stars decide to make a move that challenges the liberal current in Hollywood or in the music arena. Wyclef Jean has inspired millions, and his love for Haiti is immense.

He tried to run for President there, but lost the elections. Mr. Jean is a good man, not someone that loves to seek attention from the paparazzi and is not a junkie.

Here’s his opinion on Sarah Palin:

“I have to tell you this: I am a huge fan of Sarah Palin,” the former Fugee said. “Cause she’s rad. She’s shrewd. She’s cool. Because at the end of the day, I’m for the people, because this is the United States of America…this is what America’s really about. Anyone should have the right to say, ‘Look I can do the job and this is what qualifies me to do the job.’….Now my wife probably will debate and disagree with me.”

Seeming to sense a little bit of disbelief, he qualified his statement.

“I’m not saying she could be the next president, you know, but there’s something about her. Heavy debates in my house. Whenever I say Sarah Palin, people think I’m crazy, but I like her, I do. I can like whoever. This is America, right?”

Julianne Moore Will Play Sarah Palin In HBO

Liberal heads will explode in 3, 2, 1…

This time Hollywood has taken notice of Governor Palin, and so far I don’t know how close the script will be based on the book, “Game Change” which covered the 2008 elections. “Game Change” was not 100% accurate with information about the campaign, as claimed by Palin.

So far, here are the details:

Oscar-nominated actress Julianne Moore will portray the former Alaska governor in the project, which will chronicle Palin’s burst into the national scene as a surprise vice presidential candidate in 2008.  Directing Game Change is  Jay Roach, director of the Meet the Parents movies as well as the HBO film Recount, which examined the aftermath of the 2000 presidential election with a focus on the Florida recount.

Game Change is based on Mark Halperin and John Heilemann’s book about the 2008 presidential elections and follows John McCain’s campaign from his selection of Palin as his running mate to their ultimate defeat in the general election.

Danny Strong, who previously wrote the Roach-directed Recount, penned the script for Game Change. Roach is executive producing, with Strong co-executive producing.

As soon as more information starts trickling in, I will post more details. Stay tuned.

Bring it, Kathy Griffin; Grizzly Mama Bear Sarah Is Waiting

Kathy Griffin hasn’t taken a cue from the boo’s she got when she performed a stand-up for the military by trashing Bristol when she was at “Dancing With The Stars“.  She’s now totally engaged, supposedly in attacking Governor Palin‘s daughter for the year!

Well…the D-Lister is trying to go upgrade, but it won’t work and it’s not fun to pick on another person’s child…she doesn’t know what that feels like. I found this quote from Griffin where she describes her targets of her jokes (emphasis mine):

“I’m genuinely a fan of most of the people I trash in the act,” said Griffin in an interview. “I really, really try and focus on making fun of people for their behavior. I’m not so into making fun of someone for the way they look, or something that’s out of their control.”

So, where does Bristol fit in all this, pun intended? So it’s fair for Kathy to trash Palin’s kids because of their looks, but yet she had to endure a lengthy plastic surgery to improve her image? I don’t get it. Perhaps she compromised on this one because Kathy Griffin either hates Palin with a passion, thinking that her satire will enrage the LGBT community so they’ll side with Griffin.

There’s a segment on Judge Jeanine Pierro interview on FOX Business where Judge Jeanine asked Sarah for a reaction to Griffin’s latest attempt to mock Palin on “Glee!”.  The claws have come out, and Kathy, better be ready: Governor Palin’s nickname “Sarahcuda” is not to be taken lightly, nor she’s coined it herself-something you might do now and then!

It was fascinating (and frustrating) at the same time, looking at all the Hollywood stars that we like and we don’t, and one in particular that has really pissed me off recently (cough, Gloria, coughestefan!).  She must’ve switched parties or something.  Don’t care for her much, now even less than this!

Ignore Britney.  Seems like a general statement.  But to know that we have James Earl Jones as a Republican has made my day.  Now it’s up to the lame stream media and corral them.  THANK GOD FOR COUNTRY MUSIC!  They are the real patriots performing for our troops via USO!
