UPDATE: In case anybody is interested in a statue of Maria Rosa Mystica, it is detailed and posted on the front page (as of September 15, 2011). On the “two suns” vision I had, I looked up on YouTube and so far aside from actual anomalies unexplained in China and other parts of the world, others are connecting them to those who follow Planet X/Nibiru topic. None of these videos show a clash and repel each other; perhaps it has another meaning and not a literal meaning.
This post is (aside from Japan‘s disaster) one of the most viewed of the whole blog. Consider this a sign of Our Mother watching us very closely. If you have other dates as theory, or do not believe in anything at all, it’s okay to write about it too.

I have had this hunch, this message for a second day in a row: “Garabandal will be soon, very soon!” “Garabandal will be soon!” And in Spanish, since that’s my first language. It is a WARNING to me, but do I need to BE there? It’s said that all those who attend will be healed of all diseases and illnesses (count me in), but because we have Internet, TV and satellites everybody around the world will watch it.

I believe that after going through a couple of websites, the right date for the Apparition(s) will be April 12, 2012. I thought at first that it would happen this year (which it could be) then I came upon this one:

I am Catholic, the YouTube videos and the documentaries about the Garabandal girls are incredible, especially the picture where St. Michael The Archangel gives one of the girls the Holy Ghost. It appeared out of nowhere, and hundreds saw that miracle.
Love the website and I am also devout to Maria Rosa Mystica from Montichari/Fontanelle.
For your information and how especially this is significant for me, I feel that I am finally delivering a message to spread to the world. Of course only God knows, and I am not 100% certain of the date. What I can tell you is that I feel a sense of peace by delivering this message to whoever reads it.

Hi Patty. I read what you wrote on 6th June, and I hear you. That does put a cat in amongst the pigeons. But I will give it the benefit of the doubt at this stage.
I take it you don’t believe the MDM messages?

Hi All. I have finished going through all the messages of MDM. The messages sound so real and the warnings make sense. I have found 3 or 4 things that seem a contradiction to the gospel. But my knowledge of the gospel isn’t that sharp, so I will get 2 people whos knowledge is better than mine to look at it.
The obvious prediction is the ‘assassination of 3 world leaders’ which I thought would have happened by now. (but I should not rush God)
Has anyone else gone through the messages?

Some may wonder why am I bothering? Well the truth is because after the warning we are going to be looking for direction. Remember the world will be in turmoil. MDM is giving advice for after the warning, so will the Medjugorje messages, and other prophets or seers which are around. In the end they will be everywhere, and they are everywhere now.
The devil is clever. He will suck us in with lots of truths and messages of Love, but will throw in messages which isn’t what the Lord wants.
I posted on face book about St faustina and the Divine Mercy “the warning”.
Only 2 people want to press ‘like’ so the message can be spread. I’m sure I would get more acknowledgement if I blasphemed.
How soon is this “warning”?

The warning will not take place only when things are at there worst. Many things must take place beforehand.
Like you I would too would like to see the warning sooner rather than later, however, in Gods Mercy the event will only take place when it will do the greatest good (i.e deliver the greatest number of conversions to God) therefore for the love of our brothers and sisters lets not wish it too soon.
As we all know within an year of the Warning there will be the promised Miracle in Garabandal. On this subject Padre Pio stated that “Europe will pay with much blood for the Miracle”……Grave comments indeed, So sadly Janine (and to a certain extent thankfully) things in the world are not yet at their worst.
All we can and must do is live the life we have been gifted with to our very best. All Heavenly promises will come to fruition at the the precise time when they will deliver the greatest benefit to all of God’s cherished children.

Yes. Thanks to Aviso, I have opened my eyes to Medjugorje. Thousands are so heart set on those messages. I believe they will do anything those messages tell them to do, and will not recognise something that isn’t right.
Regarding MDM. I was almost convinced with these messages, but I’m not so sure now, for reasons I won’t say yet.
Please tell me Frank, Why don’t you believe MDM?
As I had said before. I tend to believe most things I get told. But I do not want to follow any false prophet or lead anyone else on the wrong path.
I am reading the Bible. I have just finished reading Job. So I still have a while to go.
My learnings from the Old Testament has given me an understanding of the love of God and Israel. (not that I confess to understand it all)
But by understanding the Bible I believe it will help to know what to do in the end times.

Personally I would prefer no one to give dates. But in saying that, it does make us talk about the warning which is a good thing.
We know it will come soon. But is soon this year? Or is soon 3 years away?
The world has to be in a bigger mess than what it is in now, but this can happen in a blink of an eye.
I encourage everyone to keep on talking about the Great Mercy that we will recieve at a date to come soon.

Nov 2010, we got told to stock pile now. Maybe we should trust in God, He will supply us just like He did when Israel were hungry.
While this information should convince everyone, I know it won’t. Just like there is enough information on why to leave the messages of Medjugorje.
Remember. We are warned of false prophets that will even perform miracles.

I have a question that you may be able to clarify. If the warning is Dec 21st, 2012, will the seer announce it 3 days before it will happen or does the warning ( illumination of souls) come without a Pre-announcement?
I know some of the Medjugorje secrets will be announced 3 days in advance but am not sure about the warning.

Dear Paul, There will be no warning of the warning, so you just have to be ready. There will be 8 days warning before the miracle.
The warning I don’t think will happen this year, because the world is not at its worse, but God knows. Maria is only going by her ‘feelings’, she may be right, she may be wrong.
As for Medjugorje, I believe it is a big lie. I suggest you look up on the internet the truth about Medjugorje, and not on the Medjugorje sites, because they will tell you only what they want you to hear.
Medjugorje will prevent alot of people attending the miracle of Garabandal because people will think there will be a miracle in Medjugorje too.This is why Our Lady was sad when She said not many will be in Garabandal for the miracle, otherwise why was She sad?

Ok but I do believe Medjugorje is authentic. I have been there 3 times and have seen the miracle of the sun there with my own eyes. I believe both Garabandal and Medjugorje will compliment each other. I have met most of the Medjugorje visionaries and for them to be faking to see Our lady for over 30 yrs seems highly unlikely to pull off. It has bore good fruit with numerous conversions, attendance at mass, confession and many miracles. I believe in both places. God bless.

Hi Paul, I too use to believe in Medjugorje. I just want to ask you. Did you know that Satan can have people see ‘miracles’?
It is your own free will to believe as you wish. But I do advise you to read the truths of Medjugorje.
I wonder how many people will be in Garabandal for the miracle. I’m hoping to be there with my family.
I some times wonder what it will be like in Garabandal the day before and the day of the miracle. The miracle will take place at 8pm on a Thursday. I picture the weather will be horrible before hand, just like in Fatima. It could be raining, windy. There is not much accommodation in Garabandal, so we may need to bring a tent. If the weather is horrible, I wonder how many people will decide not to stay.
It is just my thought. The Lord may give us beautiful weather.
I also wonder, how long do we have after the miracle before the chastisement takes place.
All these concerns, shouldn’t be our main concern, even though I am guilty of it. Changing my sinful ways and worrying about my family is enough.
The narrow road to Heaven certainly isn’t easy.
As to Medjugorje, sure the devil can make miracles but then with that reasoning you can say how do you know he didn’t create the Fatima miracle of the sun ?? I find it counter productive if satan is creating Medjugorje to have millions of people praying, confessing, going back to mass and adoring the Eucharist and creating prayer groups all over the world – I just don’t see the logic of deception. If it was satan than I would expect all the opposite of the fruits I listed. Anyway he will have to agree to disagree. The most important thing is that we continue to pray, attend mass as much as possible, keep deepening our conversion and love others from our hearts. This is what God and Our lady is asking of all of us. When the Garabandel seer announces 8 days before the miracle I will certainly get on the first flight out. If I have to sleep on the ground I don’t care but I would love to be there or Medjugorje ( I believe the miracles will occur at the same time in both places).

It is interesting that the Meyans and their calendar ending on 12/21/2012 talk about a SPIRITUAL AWAKENING and a new era beginning, not the end of the wold like so many think. The American Indians also talk about this awakening when people will see all the selfishness and wrong they are doing that hurts others. Sounds very much like the warning. Maybe the Warning will take place on 12/21/2012 ??
Yes, that is interesting. I had no idea about the Indians too. Oh well, we haven’t long to wait to see if this is the date of the warning. But I still would be expecting some sort of invassion first. The warning is something I need.. Some times if think I need that real good kick up the bum. lol.

Hi Patty, Ummm, There is no posting from you on or around 6th Aug.
But I did do a very little bit of research myself on ‘Pelianito’. This person gives little information about herself, which immediately makes me feel as if her words aren’t authentic. I could be wrong.
I have changed my opinion alot this year, due to the fact of being fooled into believing everyone who says they recieve messages. It is mind blowing how many people say they recieve Divine messages.
Medjugorje was my first awakening for realizing I was being fooled. Then MDM. There have been others since that say they recieve messages too, yet I have been able to proove they are lying.
So I am very careful now. I choose carefully in reading someones writings. There are Holy Spirits and evil spirits, no other. You are either for God or against Him, no other.
Our minds can become poisoned when constantly reading ‘false prophets’. Many take them as Gospel. Yet they are not Gospel.
I know my own mind was being poisoned when I would read MDM daily, these messages were doing me no good.
I believe in the apparitions of Garabandal. But I will not put Garabandal above ‘approved’ apparitions eg Fatima, Lourdes, La Salette. And I will not put any apparition site above the Gospel.
The question has to be asked…..
How many messages do we really need?
Do we, should we need more than the Gospel?
When Our Lady came to Fatima then Garabandal. She came with a warning for the world. It was straight to the point.
We can either sit up and listen or ignore these warnings.
I also find. We all these ‘so called’ messages. They are dividing the faithful, which also tells me they are NOT from Heaven.

I see why you never saw my message of Aug. 6 and I can still see it. It says it is awaiting moderation. I guess it is to stay forever in never never land. lol
I too find so many messages are not uplifting and disturbing to my peace. the messages to Pelianito give me much peace. If you go to her site on the left hand side and click on “Book: Pelianito Journal Blog 2003-2012 it will tell you in the second paragraph to click on the word “here” for a full pdf file of all her messages. She tells us alot about herself at the beginning of the pdf and her parish priest gives a nice forward to the book. She gives her full name and she is a third order member of Brothers and Sisters of Penance of Saint Francis.
After each of her scripture passages and message from Jesus she writes a beautiful prayer.
And very important, in the comment section under each message many beautiful posts are written by some very holy people. Pelianito also comments. I have read her comments for over a year and she is always so humble and caring. This is the first time I feel I have been able to get to know the messenger who dares to give her name and take the time to interact with those following her.

I find it very interesting that the Meyan elders, the Hopi Indians and the Chinese ( may be other cultures as well) talk about a ” SPIRITUAL AWAKENING” or ” purification” or change of conscious on 12/21/2012. Many prophets. Saints and visionaries tell us about the WARNING / ILLUMINATION OF THE SOUL. This is no coincidence that so many different people and cultures are talking about the same thing. Well the 21st is getting closer. Time will tell.
I hope it does happen next week before Christmas. We really need this illumination of conscience.
But if it doesn’t happen this year, God’s will be done. But stay on your guard as it could happen in January, and it may not.
I wonder how those who are ‘false’ prophets will manage after the warning?
You would imagine they will suffer badly.
But will that be the end of the ‘false’ messengers?
You would like to think it is, and it could be for those who have little following.
But what about the ‘false’ prophets which Satan has been able to grasp into his hands? The false prophets who have managed to accumulate millions of dollars of wealth?
Will they have the strength to confess to the faithful?
If they do, we need to forgive them. I too, ignorantly, have given money to the false prophet.
I personally don’t think the ‘false’ prophets who have accumulated great wealth will stop. In fact it could be the start of bigger problems.

Patty, Thanks for that. But for some reason or other, I just can’t be drawn to another prophet. I am not saying I don’t believe her. She could be true, and some people may need to listen to her. I just need to keep to the “Church Approved” prophets and continue with Garabandal.

We are now living in a Godless world. The amount of people who don’t even believe in Jesus, that He was concieved by the power of the Holy Spirit, born of a Virgin etc….
This Godless world has changed extremely fast. It takes only 2 or 3 generations. Eg. Our parents went to church, we believe but don’t practise or talk about the faith with our children, then all of a sudden, they doubt religion and it ends there.
Even in the beginning, the evil Kings feared God. Today, how many leaders fear God? How many people fear God?

Would the Good Lord want us to know the warning date?

I firmly believe it has not reached the point where the Warning will have the maximum impact and therefore be of the greatest benefit to mankind. The event will represent the greatest gift to humanity since the resurrection and will be our very last chance to convert fully. There is still some way to go before “things will be at their very worst”

How the world looks to some, might look different to others. Life is good to me, so it doesn’t seem ‘that bad’ yet. But there must be many in this world who think it is at it’s worse.
BTW. MDM said ‘The Great Tribulation’ will commence late 2012. Even if we do have the warning this year, the Great Tribulation will not have started. I wonder how many people will still follow her?

I have a question and would like your input. When the Warning happens and if we are in a state of grace, will all our faults be shown to us even if those things were all confessed and forgiven in confession? I image the warning will less traumatic for those in a state of grace.

Paul, I don’t think we will be shown anything we have confessed and felt truly sorry for but I think we will be shown many things that we have done or failed to do over the years that displeased Our Lord that we had totally forgotten about or dismissed as not being really sinful. As painful as it will be, after the Illumination we will be totally sin free and I think our time in Purgatory will be wiped away at that point. The challenge will be to stay sin free and to live in the Divine Will of God from that moment on.

As mentioned above, we will be forgiven our sins if we are truly remorseful, sadly we will all have to atone one way or another, even for the smallest of sins ( inour eyes)
St Faustina was told that the average time spent in Purgatory is 40 years, St Catherine of Sienna was shown Purgatory. I quote her (not verbatim) Purgatory is a most grevious place but a place where a soul will voluntary flee to, rather than be confronted by the Beatific vision, in a state less than pure. None of us will see the beatific vision unless we are 100% pure, which can only happen through the purgation of the soul.

Paul, I am offering up the sufferings I will undergo during the Warning now before it happens in atonement for my sins and those of the whole world joined with the perfect agony that Jesus suffered for us. This will be my gift to Our Lord. After the Warning if we have asked for Mercy we will be as pure as a new born baby and we get a second chance to live the rest of our lives for Him. What a fantastic gift!
Jesus said “Whatever is bound on earth will be bound in Heaven. What is loose on earth will be loose in Heaven.”
So what has been forgiven on earth, is forgiven in Heaven.
But that doesn’t mean we won’t see how we offended God.
I would love to think the worse of my sins in which I have confessed won’t be shown.
But in all honestly, as painful as it will be. Maybe the only way for real conversion is to see how we have offended God even with the sins we have confessed.
Yes, I think if we have been going through conversion and done an honest confession, it will be less traumatic.
Jesus will give us what we need to help us, it is not to punish us.
During this mornings Homily. The Priest talked about how we think we know God’s ways.
Before the birth of Jesus, the Jews were looking out for the Messiah.
They were expecting Him to come from the clouds, with trumpets blowing in great glory. They probably thought His coming will solve all their problems.
But as we know, they were wrong. Our Saviour came as a baby, born in a stable with all the poverty and hardships a young couple can endure.
No wonder they struggled to understand.
Is it possible to know God’s ways?
That’s why we have to just say…”Jesus, I trust in you.”

I was converted because of the warnings given at Garabandal.
Some people are converted because of the messages given at Medjugorje.
Some people are converted because of the scary messages of Maria Divine Mercy.

How would I feel If I learnt the apparitions at Garabandal were not from a Divine sourse?
I would feel decieved. I would feel hurt.

The important thing is that the person came back to God. Our Lord can use various means to bring a soul to him. Who are we to judge their experience and what brought them to Christ.

My conversion, because of the prophecies of Garabandal was only 3 years ago.
I have been on a very interesting journey since.
I have also been to Fatima, Lourdes, Garabandal and Medjugorje.
I have believed all, only because I was told they were true from lovely ladies at Church. Yet their information was given to them from the promoters not from the Church.
But I have now done my own research, it isn’t very hard. But if you don’t do this with a open heart and mind, it is pointless.
I believe in the Catholic church. I want to be obediant to the Church. If the Church hasn’t given their approval, I believe in caution. Is this so bad?
We are desparate people for the saving hands of our Lord Jesus Christ. This we all have in common. We can all see this need of His Great Mercy.
Church approved St Faustina prophecised this. So I believe.

The only way, to me, that Garabandal is false, is for Conchita to step forward and say that the date of the Miracle given to her has passed, and therefore, the warning and the miracle are not happening. But until that comes to pass, if ever, anything is possible.
I feel that everything is on course, and getting very,very close.

I’d like to share a special message from Out Lady of Medjugorje. In Nov. 1988 I was living in Alabama and Maria had come to the hospital in Birmingham to donate her kidney to her brother. She was recouperating at a home near there. This was my first visit to an apparition site. Here is the beautiful message.
“I wish that all your life be love, only love. Everything that you do, do it with love. In every little thing, see Jesus and His example. You also do as Jesus did. He died out of love for you. You also offer all you do with love to God, even the smallest little things of everyday life.”

Re: Mother Teresa. Back in the late 80s I was volunteering at a hospice. I had a spiritual director for many yrs and I kept feeling a gentle invitation to make a retreat where I would need to fully trust Our Lord. It had to be a place that I didn’t know the language, culture or anything so that I had to trust. It brought me to Calcutta in 1990. I took a leave of absents from work and flew over without making reservations to stay anywhere ( that was part of the trusting that something would work out). A man who grew up there took me under his wing and stayed with me till I found a place that would let me stay one night in their hotel which took hrs to find cause everything was booked up. Next morning I went to mass and to meet other volunteers at the mother house of Mother Teresa and when I returned to the hotel to pack up they said things changed and I can stay as long as I need. I stayed close to two months and worked with the dying. I met numerous volunteers and sisters and we met and learned so much from Mother Teresa! It’s a gift that continues to help me to this day to trust fully w/o reservation Our Lord.

I have said I was a believer in Medjugorje and MDM. But my opinion changed because of VERY strong evidence. I am very sad because I have now real doubts about Garabandal too. And this is not because Our Lady said this will happen in the end.

I have been there 3 times, met personally some of the visionaries one on one and watched them in ecstasy. I believe she is there. I think to pretend to see Our Lady daily for 31 yrs while your life has been bombarded with crowds daily, pretending to give messages and tell about specific future events to happen in their lifetime is ( in my opinion) impossible to fake. Why would they set themselves up to be hated by the world when the events to come dont happen? It makes no sense. None of us have to believe in any of these to have faith in Jesus and practice our faith, however, in this world which is destroying itself I can see why Our Lord is sending his mother often to earth to call us back to God so we are not lost.

Yes I have known about the Herzegovnia case sine the 80s before I even visited. I agree with Dan’s point of view on it. As far as the visionaries making some money from it. No other apparition in history has ever gone on this long. If Garabandal had lasted this long I’m sure the girls would have profited in some way. The Medjugorje visionaries never wanted this publicity, money or ever asked to be on this position. In every apparition site that became popular enough, money has always been made in those places. Look at Fatima and Lourdes !! Huge revenue. Does that mean its not real ??? If Lucia never became a nun or Bernadette, they may have gotten some money from the revenue of the pilgrims. All the families had to work the fields for their money. Once the apparitions began and the world kept coming yr after year, then the famines had to build homes for them to stay in and charge for that. Their living is now from the pilgrims and very little from the fields. This includes the visionaries and their famines too.

Why Garabandal has not been approved yet, I don’t know but I think it’s because the church is waiting to see if the events prophesied will come to pass.

I need to talk about the effects good and bad of following apparitions that are not yet church approved.

We are ALL God’s children. We all want to have eternal life. We all want to please The Lord.
So we must be kind to each other.
I just want to see the truth. I want all of us to see the truth. It is the truth which will set us free.

Hotels that make at least a million dollars every year for one seer is not the way to eternal life. So why would Our Lady approve?
This is so different to the seers of Fatima and St Bernadette. They NEVER asked for money for spreading the message. They lived in poverty and continued to live very humble lives, not standing up to be seen like a rock stars.
We can NEVER compare the seers of Medjugorje to St Bernadette or the children of Fatima. In fact, I don’t think there’s been a Saint who lived with wealth like the seers of Medjugorje.
And if there was, they would have given their wealth away when they chose the way of the cross.

You have been listening to people who are against Medjugorje and therefore made your opinion. Have you ever met Viska ? Have you seen her during an apparition? Have you spoken to her? Have you been around her to witness her humility and personality? I have and I see nothing but love, humility, simple ness, prayer and grace. Jesus never said because you have money you will not enter heaven, it’s what you do or don’t do with it that matters. My father was a doctor and made lots of money. He didn’t sell our possessions or give all his money away. He did attend daily mass and prayed daily and was a gentle humble man who loved God. He gave a lot of his money for us and to charities. I have no doubt he is in heaven. You can have money but if money is your God then you won’t enter the kingdom but if you have money and use it for good and live GOD Snd not your money then you are a child of God.

I can only express my own experiences. , Lourdes, Fatima, Garabandal and Medjugorje have deepened my faith and prayer life. They have been good fruits in my life and helped me become closer, more intimate and more in love with Our Lord. I’m sure both Our Lady and Jesus are happy that these events were positive in my life. Others may have different experiences but for me it’s brought me much closer to his sacred heart.

Paul, you are right. I have listened to a person who doesn’t believe in medj. But I didn’t at first. I had to do my own research.
But to be fair. I listen to more people that believe than don’t believe.
No, I haven’t met Vicka, I have only seen her on video. She appears to be a lovely and happy person. I think loves the attention too. Sorry, that is how it looks. but that is no sin.
I have listened to Ivan personally though. He doesn’t enjoy giving his talks. But it is a good living. I have also seen him interviewed, and when he was questioned on the wealth he is recieving, the way he replied was insulting on all the financially poor pilgrams.
There is nothing wrong with making an honest living. If your father was a doctor, well then there is nothing wrong with him earning alot money. Your father sounded like he was generous too.
We took a mortgage to buy a house. We could never afford to buy a hotel as well.
But the seers of Medjugorje, what work did they do to accumilate so much money to have a house and a hotel?
Correct me if I am wrong. But is their souce of income through having ‘visions’?

I am not trying to change your mind so we will have to agree to disagree which is fine. I guess what we can agree on is to pray daily, attend monthly confession, fast at least one day a week and keep our hearts open so He can transform us into a carrier of his love and a light to others.

I look at Medjugorie and others this way, until a person can disprove ever bit of good going on there, don’t nitpit issues of money or something they said. They are doing nothing wrong. They did not take any vows. I have seen Ivan twice here in Massachusetts. His life is tiring, he is always traveling and speaking.
Oh Paul, these comments are not pointed at you or anyone in general.
Apparition sites have more people against them than for them.
I tell my former coworkers ,who are my friends, about what is happening, and they think I am nuts! I tell them to keep their eyes
on world events and look for extreme conditions.

I live in Atlanta Ga but originally from Buffalo NY. I went to college in Rochester NY and lived there till 2001 when I moved to Atlanta.
I totally understand what your saying when people look at us as if we have 2 heads, especially non-Catholics who are not familiar with any apparitions or visions to saints of anyone. As far as Medjugorje, I was changed there for the better and it has produced ” good fruit” in my life. I also follow Garabandal and feel they are all related. Most of my brothers and sisters and close friends have no trouble believing in recent apparition sites but its hard to start a weekly prayer group because I find many will not make the time.

I have a question I’d like to ask. Why don’t the Garabandal visionaries ever do any traveling and speaking to spread the messages they recieved? Many Catholics who know of many apparition sites in the last 150 yrs, however, I find many of them haven’t even heard of Garabandal let alone know the messages and future events to come. I have seen a few of the visionaries online when interviewed but it appeared like pulling teeth to get them to answer questions and clearly communicate her messages. It seemed as if they didn’t want to do the interview to begin with ( just my impression). I would think one who has seen Our Lady who gave messages for the world and future events to pass would do all they can to communicate these messages, especially now in these yrs.

I believe Lourdes, Fatima, Garabandal and Medjugorje are true and a culmination of messages with frequency and intensity as time has marched on yet the world has not changed as asked by Our Lady. Whether some are true and others are false I can only comment on my experience that they all have brought me closer to Christ and Our Lady. I look at the bigger picture in that we are living in a critical time in history where we will see divine intervention that has never been seen before to usher in the new era with changed hearts. If someone bases their faith solely on an apparition and it is false thus they lose faith than their faith was not strong at all to begin with.
One thing I know for sure is that the devil loves nothing more than to seperate us, make us argue and thus become divided on any way he can, especially among believers in the woman he hates the most – Our Lady.
So maybe instead of all our disagreements we should focus on our commonalities which is devotion to our heavenly mother, redemption through Jesus and most importantly prayer. I’d love if we could be like a support group for each other in praying daily and praying for each other. How dies that sound ? I think we would be living the messages better if we did that.

I heard the visionaries are rich, live in big houses, and make money from the apparitions.
Not true. The visionaries live in homes that are the size of an average American house. But the difference is they live in a small portion of the house and dedicate most of the square footage to accomodating pilgrims. This is the norm in Medjugorje. This is the way the visionaries survive. They do not charge money to speak about Medjugorje. They dedicate their lives to spreading the message. It is a full time job. They must be able to feed and cloth their children just as we all do. They work hard to cook and clean for the pilgrims that stay with them

I have seen on other forums there seem to be people who are up in the clouds, I even think some hallucinate. This is not me. I like to know the truth and I will stand for the truth, the truth only.

I have information in which I recieved FIRST HAND showing how Ivan owns a house and a hotel on his property. I believe he also recieves income through travel agents too.

No, they don’t charge, but you are asked to donate money after their talks.
2011, I listened to Ivan in a hall which had about 750 people. I donated alot of money (stupid yes). I figured $5 as an average as many gave less and there were some gulible ones like me who gave alot. Maybe $3750 was given for his talk, more than my families combined income for a month.
His hotel would have to bring in around a million a year. This again is easy to work out when you can charge nearly $1000 a week, and 34 people he accommodates.
Once again. This is first hand information.

Janine, whether your statements of Ivan are true or not does not take away that the Mother of God is appearing to him or the others. If Ivan is wrong than so be it – he is human as well. This doesn’t mean the apparitions are false or not happening. Jesus disciple Peter denied him 3 times – we are human, that didnt mean Peter was not interacting with the son of God. In my opinion, you are judging him on information you feel is inconsistent with how a visionary should act. I would be careful if I were you in doing just that lest you be judged yourself. You are not a visionary and you have not walked in thier shoes, therefore I would not condemn Dan on his belief in it. We know you don’t and that’s fine but that’s your opinion, many others feel differently.

Our Lord through Our Lady gives messages to us to return to her son. If Ivan is doing things he shouldn’t re: money is still done by his free will which God will not interfere with. God is pure love and pure love will not force us to do anything we don’t want to do unless it comes from our desire to do or not to do.
My only suggestion to you is to go to Medjugorje and see for yourself. Pray to Our lady and Jesus and ask that the Holy Spirit enlighten you to the truth of it if its true or not.
So through your reply, I take it you believe The Mother of God would not try and correct him.
Mary is a far better mother than I. Yet if I thought one of my children were doing something that won’t lead them to eternal life, I would pick them up on it.

I would like to share something here.
A couple of years ago, after a week day mass, I asked a lady who was diagnosed with cancer if I can kneel with her, and pray to Our Lady for healing.
Within a few short minutes, I recieved this over powering presence of Our Lady moving towards me. It was not visual, but spiritual. With tears pouring from my eyes, I could not stay, I almost ran from the church.
I am sorry I ran away from such a gift. I wished I had stayed.
But this presence goes through your body in a way I just can’t discribe.
I don’t know why I couldn’t accept this wonder. I know I felt I didn’t deserve it. I was praying for this sick lady, yet it was me who was recieving.

Another lady from Church recently told me how one morning she had woken with this over powering presence of the love of God. She too discribed it as ‘too strong to humanly handle’.
We both shared are experiences, and were both in agreement that if a person recieved Divine intervention, especially everyday, their life would be ever so Holy. I just can’t imagine you would ever lie or sin.
Does anyone have any comments on the Christmas Day apparition at Medj. That the infant Jesus spoke?

Yes I do. Our lady first appeared to jakov as she does every Christmas for his yearly apparition. She gave a message. It was about 4 hrs later that she appeared to Maria with infant Jesus and she did not speak but he did. Infant Jesus was in a standing position and spike, ” I AM YOUR PEACE, FOLLOW MY COMMANDMENTS”. Maria said she was surprised and that his voice was like a child with authority in it. She cried a long time when the apparition was over. Scholars have commented that what Jesus said could mean a new turn or phase of the apparitions and that it might signify the winding down of her appearances. He said the similar to the disciples before he ascended back to the father.

I have watched and read about people claiming to have apparitions. And a lot of them are jerks. They write like poems of what they hear. Seers are direct and plain spoken. That what I see from Medjugorie. That’s what I see from Garabandal.

There is so much good and the fact that there is only one secret to go and the world is very messed up, to me, matches the conditions mentioned at Garabandal that have to be befor everything gets going.

Bosnia is a very cheap place to go to. Accommodation and food is very cheap there.
In Medjugorje, you can get accommodation for as little as $89 per week. (breakfast)
Ivan charges $999 a week for his hotel in which he owns on his property. (breakfast and evening meal)
And he collects money for his talks in which he has apparitions ‘on call’.
If he is doing no sin here, I suppose when the illumination of conscience happens he has nothing to fear.
But if I was recieving money because I was having apparitions, Well, let’s say I’d be afraid.
But I don’t care if he is doing all this. This is his problem between God and him.
What I do care about is. There are many good Catholics who are believing this Medjugorje lie.
There are some very good people who REFUSE to acknowlege the seriousness of this. Even with the evidence.
There are some very good people who will take the messages of Medjugorje before the Catholic Church.

Many doubts regarding Garabandal, as the years pass as the predictions of some eyewitness become wrong as well, I want to reconfirm here in this thread my faith and confidence about the Garabandal prophecies and for this last day of 2012, the year of all the lies, to remind the messages of our Lady :

Those who believe in Medjugorje are going to believe in it, same with Garabandal. Lets stop all the arguments about if this is real or not. Either way it will be revealed in time. Focus on what we all have in common, trying to live Christ messages.

There are some like me, who are terrified of the lies of Medjugorje and we don’t want to know or hear about it.

If it was truely Our Lady that appeared in Garabandal. She was sad because She said not many will be there for the miracle. I can only think that is because people believe there will also be a miracle in Medjugorje too.

I did not say that Medjugorie is not corrupt. I just read the sites that bash it and their facts are just plain bull. I think it is good to bring out these “facts” if they are true, it gives the seers a wakeup call. However, on these sites, not one of the good fruits is mentioned in a good way.
I just find it very hard to believe that after 31 years, it is totally false, not true, not one real apparition, no healings, NOTHING!
I just do not believe that that is the case.
Aside from that, we are keeping a close eye on Garabandal.
Janine, how about a list of the good fruits of Medjugorie.
These sites that bash it, they say, “it’s not approved by the church”. Of course it’s not, it can’t be until the secrets start happening. The same for Garabandal.

When I spoke about my experience of a spiritual presence. I was hoping to try and make the point of when this happens at this time it is not possible to do anything wrong.
So when someone has apparitions everyday, their life must be almost sinless. This was my point.

In my view, both Garabandal & Medjugorje are related so I will mention both at various times. Like I said we share our experiences and I have had many blessings in my life from these apparitions.
One last thought on Medjugorie. First, I find it hard to believe that the public is being fooled for 31 years.
But if they are, such as myself, the “seers” deserve a huge fat GOLD MEDAL for deception!

The devil did appear to one of the visionaries in the beginning weeks disguised as Our Lady. The seer knew immediately it wasn’t her because Our Lady is so beautiful because she LOVES. Satan has no love and cannot produce it when it doesn’t exist in him. She said be gone on the name of Jesus and he disappeared, Our Lady then quickly appeared and said,” excuse me for this bit you must realize that satan exists”.

I read it.. that the seer while waiting for an apparition had satan appear to her which changed into Mary.
I also had read this seer saw 2 Mary’s at this time. One was half Mary and half diobolical. The other (probably the true Mary) said “Satan can disguise himself in many ways.”
It is said that the true Mary appeared this once to show the truth.
Now I don’t know. We get lots of different stories.
All I know is, the official sites don’t tell the full stories.

I have read many things on the bashing sites for which I know are personally false. How? Because I have been there 3 times and have been with many if the Visionarues personally and some one on one.

I have some real concerns with the baby Jesus talking with authority. Why not the adult Jesus? During these dangerous times, it is only human to ask questions. Why now? Why was Fatima, Lourdes, Garabanda, etc. short time and Medj. lasting over 31 years? Just a lot of unanswered questions.
Now, concerning Garabandal. Watch the videos and you will see children not play acting. It is quite obvious. Some things they may have said could have been over blown, but I would say the majority of it is true in my opinion. It is all about faith. I have read and kept track of Garabandal for many, many years. Something has to give soon.
Just a F.Y.I. I am 58 years old and a good catholic. Went to a very strict Catholic school in Pittsburgh, PA in the 60s with tough as nails nuns and priests as teachers who really knew their stuff. Almost went into the priesthood. But that is a long story. I know my religion and God. Medj. scares the heck out of me more so than Garabandal especially now with the baby Jesus speaking. Something big is coming soon. Got a bad feeling on this one.

On Christmas Day in Medjugorje, Our Lady has always appeared with baby Jesus in her arms. This Christmas the baby Jesus spoke. Why is that so odd ? Seems perfectly fine to me. We can ask why this or why not that. We should know by now Gods ways are not our ways. How ever he wants to manifest himself is his will.

Since 1981, Every Christmas Day Our lady has always appeared with the baby Jesus in her arms. He never spoke until this Christmas. Why would not his voice has authority in it, after all he is the king of kings and a king has authority. She has appeared so long because she said these will be the last appearances in our time. Gods mercy is great and has allowed her to stay this long to bring his messages to as many people as possible to return to him. This is why I believe they have continued to this day.

Hello Ken. I’m glad you know your religion. I may be able to ask you for help on some things. I have only recently decided to be educated with the Gospel. There is so much to learn, but it is good learning. The day will come when we will need to know what the true prophets said. This day is almost here.
Matthew 24:24-26 “and false prophets will arise, and will show great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect. Behold, I have told it to you beforehand.”
Luke 21: 8 “Take care not to be led astray. For many will come in my name, saying ‘I am he’ and, ‘THE TIME IS AT HAND.’ Do not therefore, go after them.”
This speaks volume, especially Luke.
Our Lady at La Salette said. “…..and the spirit of darkness will everywhere spread, universal relaxation in everything concerning God’s service: they will have very great power over nature: there will be churches to serve these spirits. People will be transported from one place to another by these evil spirits, and even priests,…”
Does the message of La Salette make you think about what is happening today?

The church commissioned the crusaders to go out and murder those who did not believe in the Catholic Church and were put to horrible deaths. There have been a handful of horrible and corrupt popes and they have moved pedophile priests to different parishes throughout the world and allowed them to rape children. I would caution you to question them as well instead of thinking the church is the infallible institution it claims to be !

I believe in the Catholic Church that Jesus began. I believe in all the sacraments but men run it and men make mistakes. If you can’t see that then you are a blind follower. Anyone can see this and it is a shame if you close your eyes to the errors and mistakes the church has made in the past as well as the present. This is why in many apparitions Our Lady asks for numerous prayers for priests and the church – our lady knows its far from perfect.

I said, I obey the church before any appartion especially an apparition where there’s proven faults. I refuse to be delibrately blind.

I have great faith and belief and know that God makes his appearance in our world. We just need to know where to find him. All I am saying is that Medj. is unpresented in the history of apparations lasting so long and now with the change with the Baby Jesus speaking. Something is up. Is it good something or something bad? I just don’t know. God has provided me with the gift of discerment and yet I do not have any kind of feelings on this recent apparation. I just don’t have any discernment and don’t know how to react to it.
Ok, my “angel” story.
Back about 30 years ago in Springfield Ma US, I was driving my white ford ranger pickup with my baby son and my wife at the time. I was on the opposite side of this intersection when I did what I never do, I ran out of gas. It was snowing and and hard to push the truck. There was a station on the other side of the intersection and I knew I needed to take a hard right to get the truck up next to the pump. So, here I go trying to push the truck. my wife was not helping. Then I hear, you need a hand?There is this guy in an army type jacket behind my truck. I says YES! thanks! We push the truck through the big 4 lane intersection.I says to the man, I need to take a right to get up next to the pump.
he says, no problem. So once we get through the intersection, I take the hard right and we get the truck next to the pump. In the next 5 seconds or so, I put the truck and first gear to hold the truck, I turn around to thank the “man”, and there is nobody there.
This is a big open area. I am looking behind the truck, to the left, to the right.He is gone. I says to my wife, where did he go? she says, where did who go? I says, the man that was helping me push the truck. I says, to her, I think I was helped by an angel.
She says what are you talking about. I said, think about it. I could not push the truck and take a right turn up to the pump. For what reason would a person run off and hide. It would be like being with someone in the middle of a football, you turn away for a moment, turn back to them, and they are gone.

Beautiful experience and I’m sure it was an angel ! I had a similar experience first time I was in Medjugorje. I doubted the real presence of our Lord in the Eucharist. In my prayers I asked if he was truly present to somehow show me. A week after I returned home, I was at church doing the first Saturdays asked by our Lady at Fatima. Mass was over and I was almost the last person left in the church. I was still praying in a pew in the back. A woman tapped me on the shoulder and said,” young man, I think you would enjoy this book – it’s yours, God Bless you”. Shocked, I just looked at her, took the book and said, thank you. I looked at the cover and it said- I AM THE BREAD OF LIFE. I turned it around and on the back it had a picture of the Eucharistic Miracle in Lanciano Italy ( the Eucharist turned to flesh and wine to blood in 16th century and still there today). I turned to talk to the lady and she was gone. I ran out the door and looked both ways and she was nowhere to be seen. I attended that church weekly and had never seen that woman before. I think God sent an angel to show the truth of his presence in the Eucharist. I never doubted it again.

There is another forum out there which constantly talks about strange things. The owner of the forum taks about having ‘visions’ of Mary and Satan often visits him too. He talks about his dreams and people take it as gospel.
I don’t believe him at all. Yet many do.
Funny how many people who believe in Medjugorje see things that I don’t see.
They see Jesus in the clouds, in the trees and all sorts of wonders. They show the photos, and as much as I’m wanting to see it too, I can’t.
Jesus said we will see ‘false wonders.’

Dan, I don’t understand why people are like this. Maybe they like to sound ‘important’. When you speak on forums, you really don’t know who or what kind of people you are speaking to. In time, something is said that shows them up.
I also believe many people are gullible. And I say that kindly as it is easy to do. I have always believed what people have told me. Today I am different. I now try and use my own brain a bit more.
My suggestion is to be careful, that’s all.
Is anyone making new 2013 spiritual goals for this year ? For example:
1). I will say the rosary daily
2) I will visit the blessed sacrament at least once a week

Yes, I have been thinking about this. I feel as if I need to give my time in some way or other.
I have a great 20 minute dvd about the warnings of Fatima. It talks about Fatima and shows the problems of the world today.
I would like to share this with youth, idealy in schools.
Otherwise, I have to do something else.
I also need to organise myself better. Sometimes, or maybe ‘often’ is a better word, my prayer time is rushed.
It’s good to at least have an aim to better yourself and then do the best you can.

Totally agree Janine, it’s always good to have goals to strive for and good to organize. Have you seen the 2009 Fatima movie called, ” THE 13th DAY” ? It’s wonderful and shows the miracle of the sun like I’ve never seen depicted in a movie before. It’s a good comprehensive movie on the events of Fatima. You can watch it on U – Tube or purchase the DVD.

On the subject of the baby Jesus, It’s Christmas! That’s all. I do find it interesting that this has never happened in the 31 years of apparitions. And I don’t think in the history of the world’s apparitions to my very limited knowledge on that subject.

I believe the worse worry is the growing abandonment of Jesus.
When we abandon Christ, well, didn’t Jesus say something like “if you deny Me, I will deny you to My Father?”
If Garabandal is true, the warning will be soon. Joey has to be alive for it. If he isn’t it will seal my doubts.
I loved being in Garbandal, the messages and warnings were the reasons for my conversion. If it is true or false, to me it will not matter. I have to believe the Gospel first, and Luke 21:8 gives me concern.

Dan, good input, but my opinion is the time will be less than 10 years. Maybe within the next 4 years. I know people who say the rosary every day yet they live their life by hurting others. It really is upsetting. More and more you see our country decaying morally. I tell people that I don’t judge others and they can live the life they want and deal with God in the long run. However, when our country embraces abortion, gay marriage and legalization of drugs it is the beginning of the end and the end isn’t too far off. The only thing we can do is pray, teach our children and spouses to continue living good lives and keep talking to others about what God wants and keeping his laws to the best of our ability. It is scary times and as it is, it is difficult to talk with people on these issues because they try to ridicule you when you do. However, when the time does come, what a wonderful feeling it will be to know in your heart, that you followed the right path. When God is with you, who can be against you?

I don’t use any drugs. I don’t promote the use of drugs. However, I do find it odd that you can drink yourself blind, but don’t smoke a joint. I think it’s because it would be so easy to grow pot. So the makers of beer and booze pay the government to keep it a felon to do so.

I can agree with you that if you are willing and like to smoke pot, then you would be more likely to walk down other roads and do serious drugs because of the people around you.
What blows my mind is their is so much information on drugs like Met and Heroin that destroy lives completely and yet the peer pressure in these groups are as strong as the addiction.
I feel very sorry for a person who was trying to fit in and be friends with people whom he or she did not know were that evil and did not care about how much harm they knew they were going to inflict on this or these people.
It is all about our corrupt government representatives and Supreme Court. When the abortion issue was before the Supreme Court (I believe in 1972), they did not have the technology then to know that the fetus was a live human being. We do now and yet, the government finances abortion. Our own president voted as a Illinois Legislator to allow the baby to die if the baby was still alive after a late term abortion. I can go on and on about how our government supports either through money or legislation what are sins against God. It is one thing for an individual to commit the acts and deal one on one with God for it. It is an entirely different situation for a government to embrace and sponsor it. That is my big concern. One more step to having more an more people in the country walk away from God. The government is leading the way to the self destructive ways of drugs, against family values, abortion, porn, etc.
Yes Ken & Dan, there are a lot of horrible things going on and that have escalated such as abortion, drug additions and the deterioration of love and kindness. I find the best way to approach this is not an us and they mentality but a We mentality. I believe this helps us avoid the boxing of people into different groups but rather placing us all together as one family under God. At least for me it helps me to think of all, good and bad, as brothers & sisters and praying for all of us is easier with less resentment and ” they are the enemy” type thinking. This includes everything, people, cultures, religions, political parties, etc….etc. All the dividing a and divisions I believe mean nothing to God & to him we are just all his children.
Dan, I disagree with you. The bible is full of stories of countries and governments turning secular and God then turned his back on them. I do not judge individuals. It is their choice. However, our leaders in both parties have helped our country go down the path of darkness. Sorry, I don’t have any faith in any of our leaders any more.

Our politicans wants the people to rely on them for everything and not God. You want to have sex whenever or wherever? Sure, let the government provide you with the pill. You get pregeant? Don’t worry about it, the government will pay for an abortion. Don’t want to work? Don’t worry, we will pay you welfare. Kids want to have sex in high school? No problem, we will get you the condoms. Gays want to marry? Sure, lets make it a law. Need drugs? Sure, let’s change the laws. The government wants to take care of all of your needs. You don’t need God. All of these things are happening and much, much worse. Both political parties are to blame. I love this country and yes it is free for now. But with all of the freebies, look what else they are doing.

I read your last post but on e thing I want to touch on is this: I am a gay man. I did not “choose” to be gay, there is no such thing as as choosing your sexual orientation . If it is a choice then tell me what day you made the choice and decision that you were going to be straight. its rediculous and you didnt have to think about it what so ever, you just knew you were always attracted to the opposite sex. That is a lie Christian people propagate so they can blame gay people for being ” rebellious”, if it was a choice why would someone choose to be a minority, be hated by many, risk losing their family, have the church tell you, you are going to hell and not welcoming you to their church, to be demonized and so on and so on. I have seen too many teens kill themselves because of being hated by their families, the church and society as a whole. I prayed for yrs for God to change my orientation and he never did. He loves me for who I am. I do not necessarily agree with gay people Marrying but I do support unions with all the benefits and protections a couple should have. I have suffered a lot with me being gay and finally The Lord has healed my fear and hatred for myself. I wanted to comment here because I’ve seen since I was a child the hatred and discrimination for others like me. I want to educate Catholics and Christians to love gay people and not hate or judge them – they all have suffered internally for years before they come out. If you think a gay person is doing something wrong, in error then pray for them but do not join the group to look down on them with discuss and hatred. Thank you for hearing me.
Paul, no problem with me on your sexual orientation. That is between you and God only as far as I am concerned. I have gay friends that I hug when I haven’t seen them for a period of time. But, I will tell you what I have told them. Live your life how you feel as we do live in a free country. However, marriage between the same sexes in my opinion is an insult to God. The organization I work for was one of the first in our state to offer benefits for “partners”. Never had a problem with that either and believe me when I tell you that I did have a word on it when it was discussed to become one of our policies. It is the Christian thing to do. When my wife was going through classes to become a Catholic, I attended every class as her sponsor. In particular, there was a gay older lady in the class and no one judged her. The Monsignor who was running the class had no judgements against her either (at least in public) and she became a Catholic the same night as my wife. The Monsignor actually once made comments similar to yours above. I will be more than happy to continue discussions on this board on any topic that comes up. May God bless you.
The only thing I can say is I have a wonderful partner. We are not ” married” and do not plan on it but we do hope to have a union one day so we can be protected under the law. If I die then he can receive the financials I wish to give him or if he or I get sick we would be able to be in the room and not told he or I can’t come in because we are not ” family”. God does not want anyone to be alone snd Since my orientation from birth is gay then for me this is the best situation I can have. I don’t see me being with my partner or having a union is offensive to God at all. The alternative is living alone, never being able to have a partner or family what so ever for the rest of my life. I admit that I struggle with the idea that God would not want to allow a union between a gay couple – why ask someone to live a life without love or without a soul mate? There is always a lock for every key. Is that what God wants? I can’t come to terms with that but look we just don’t know. I married my soul mate and it is nice to share a life with someone you love and is there to give you a hug and a kiss when life just gets you down and we have a beautiful daughter together. . I was BORN with a gay sexual orientation, there was no choice in the matter and God loves me just the way I am ! How dare you say you cannot be gay and catholic. There isn’t anything in the bible where Jesus specifically talks of homosexuality. It isn’t a mortal sin. As I indicated above there was a gay lady who became a catholic the same time as my wife and no one had a problem with it.
The Catholic Catechism says this about homosexuality:
2358 The number of men and women who have deep-seated homosexual tendencies is not negligible. They do not choose their homosexual condition; for most of them it is a trial. They must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided. These persons are called to fulfill God’s will in their lives and, if they are Christians, to unite to the sacrifice of the Lord’s Cross the difficulties they may encounter from their condition.
2359 Homosexual persons are called to chastity. By the virtues of self-mastery that teach them inner freedom, at times by the support of disinterested friendship, by prayer and sacramental grace, they can and should gradually and resolutely approach Christian perfection.
What the church has to say about gay people is rediculous. To say ALL gay people must be chase and live lives without a significant other or partner to share their love is rediculous. Being Chase / chastity is a gift to a select few and to say a whole group of people must do this is not realistic. So for me to be in line with the church I have to be chase and never be able to have a partner for the rest of my life. Easy for straight people to say. I’d like to see that demand put on you and see how fast you would not like to live alone or with no man or woman / husband or wife in your life !
I hear what you’re saying Paul. My prayers are with you. Chastity is difficult but not impossible. After all, priests are celibate. It’s not easy, but God will give you the graces in order to do it. No cross will ever be easy to carry, but God will assist you.
These sins not only offend God, but men as well, we also called them “The sins that cry to heaven for vengeance”.
• The voluntary murder (Genesis 4:10)
• The sin of impurity against nature –Sodomy and homosexual relations (Genesis 18:20)
• Taking advantage of the poor (Exodus 2:23)

All these ” laws” you state are in the Old Testament. If you believe everything written in the Old Testament then you believe in slavery and having slaves. A marriage includes a man and many wives and I hope you have never eaten shellfish and many more things. I’m sure You do not agree with those items written in the bible. People do not follow numerous things and ” laws” in the bible because we know they are wrong ( ie: slavery). I take my beliefs from Jesus alone and what did he say about gay people ? Paul, Aviso was not pointing out the splinter in your eye while not removing the log from his. The Catholic faith is full of rules that we say yes to, including celebacy for many. Celebacy is not a bad thing as you receive many graces from God, and is not only for those who were born with homosexual tendancies. The proper union between man and woman is rare and often fails due to a lack of following the rules. The divorce rate is phenominal. Marriage is for a select few who are open to the gift of children and love eachother, and continue to love eachother through God’s mercy and graces and work hard – their life is not meant to be easy either. People who are born gay are very blessed in a sense, they have many gifts to offer this world and much to offer the Catholic church when celebate. You have the power to lead the flock with intelligence and devotion to God through celebacy. We are not on earth to have a good time, we are here to suffer as a sacrifice to earn our place in Heaven. We are all born with a cross to carry, God only gives you what you can handle and clearly he has given you a huge cross because he knows how strong you are. There is a reason for you being born this way, as my two brothers. I cannot okay them finding partners or judging them in any sense at all but they can know they have a higher purpose and God did indeed create them that way. The Catholic church is not a place for perfect people, it is a hospital for souls. If a priest ‘okays’ homosexuality in the sexually active sense, then he is on the road to perdition. “Many priests are on the road to perdition, and taking many souls with them”. Please remember, our God is a forgiving Father and we are all his children. The church ( men) make up many rules that Jesus never said yes or no too. According to the church a woman cannot be ordained and say mass – this is rediculous. We are all created EQUAL. The church was against whites marrying blacks – again rediculous. Jesus never said gay people cannot be in a monogamous loving relationship and or adopt children. If my ” orientation” from birth is gay then for me being with a partner if the sane gender is normal for me, for you no. What’s more of a sin, me lying at the altar of God and pretending to love a woman to fit in with what society wants or being honest with myself and God. Again to say to all gay people, oh I’m sorry your gay, but you must now never be able to have a partner, therefore you must be alone and celebrate for your entire life. I can’t imagine that’s how Christ would want me to live. Sorry I strongly disagree if this was the case the suicide rate would be countless
We are not body’s that just might have a soul, as the world wants us to believe. We are all souls, that currently have these limited, fragile bodies. To be in the church means to be in the world, but not of the world. We are called to detach from things carnal that keep our souls attached to the earth and cause us to “love our lives”. That is, to detach from “idols” of stone and wood (like even our luxurious houses), and metal (like our luxurious cars or motorcycles), and flesh itself (like our own, or that of others).
Many aspects of our popular culture are now working very hard to teach us the opposite of this, especially through media and entertainment, which we can now even carry around in our hands and consume at any instant. Our true destiny is not this current existence. Our hope must be in our true destiny within the eternal family of God, which will not resemble the suffering and loneliness of our individual, sinful, fleeting, fleshly lives right now.
Fasting, penance, and responding to Christ’s call to “love not your lives” is all about detaching from the world. It is about conforming our wills to His – offering our free will back to the Father in this way. We are all equally called to this effort, for the good of our own souls, which is who we really are.

Do you have a loving relationship with your girlfriend or wife to share your days with, through good and bad times, the holidays ?? Why aren’t you alone and celebrate, why am I who is gay have a mandatory life of loneliness and celibacy when I didn’t get that “call” or “gift”but you who are straight get to be with someone to share your life with ???
All physical is not evil. All of these things can be inherently good, but inordinate attachment to these things, for the sake of themselves, just serves to keep us attached to the world, and thus they become “idols”.

Pornography tends to build this lie in our minds, especially for us men, and then we see ouselves as more and more physical beings with desire for pleasure and amusement. I know from experience
We can fall into objectifying our loved ones for their physical beauty, or objectifying our own bodies, and worshipping our own sexuality and flesh. In that way, some sexualy acts, regardless of who is acting, tend toward this self-worship.

Well I can tell you I do not fall into any of those categories in my relationship with my partner. I live modestly, I have never been addicted to drugs, sex, alcohol or any other vises. I attend mass, pray daily and go to monthly confession and I have never felt in my prayers that The Lord wanted me to be alone and never share my life with someone because I was born gay. I can only go by my intimate relationship with my lord.
We can never judge the state of another’s soul. That is not for us to do to each other. No person knows the tests and temptations we are given, only our Lord.
It sounds like your spiritual life is one that would produce growth in virtue, which is the type of spiritual life we should aspire to. Through that type of discipline (approching the tribunal of Mercy in confession often, approaching the font of Mercy by receiving the Eucharist in a state of Grace often, and daily prayer like the rosary), we will then manifest as instruments of God’s Love and Mercy inthe world.
It can’t be done without supernatural Grace. If we confidently approach the Throne of His Grace (also the Eucharist), and seek His Graces in humility, then they will be given to us, and His Will should become one with ours.
The awesome Truth of it all is the reason we know His Church to be the place where heaven is on earth….until His return. That is why we accept it as the Truth – because we know Jesus is present, and we can’t keep ourselves away.

I am not saying someone has to be sexually active to be ” happy” but that is a very natural part of the human condition. Ok let’s take you and your husband. So you two are in love and I just want you to put yourself in my shoes for a minute. You and your husband are in love with each other yet you cannot kiss each other, hold hands, cuddle or have any sexual contact ever from the time you meet till the time you die. If you are in love with someone that is very different than just being a friend. The difference is that you share romantic love between the two. I’m sure you putting yourself in my scenario put a knot in your stomach for a minute getting a feel how horrible that would be if you had to live the way I described with your husband. I was born with a gay sexual orientation, something in the hypothalamus region produced more estrogen in the brain than testosterone in certain critical weeks of gestation. I do not feel I should be punished or not being able to be in love with a partner because I was born this way. You have your opinion and I have my experience and many yrs with God discussing my issue. I was a miserable, sad, suicidal young adult but now I’m close with Out Lord and feel great in who I am and how God made or allowed me to be born gay because in him there are no mistakes.

A sexual relationship is to be between HUSBAND and WIFE.
So, we are not meant to have a sexual relationship with our boy/girl friend. It is between husband and wife.

Janine. I am from Wisconsin. I just stumbled on this thread while searching for ideas on the fulfillment of the Garabandal prophecies. That is what I was looking for, and I happened to reply to a couple messages here. My comments were just reflection on my understanding of Truths of our Faith, but also of where my mind is at this time.
I believe all of our thoughts and actions at this time should be to accept the Divine Mercy of Christ, and live as instruments of His Love and Mercy, in preparation for the great acts of Mercy in our time: The Warning and the Miracle. That also means to follow the messages of Fatima and Garabandal about conversion of our lives, turning away from sin, and running toward Our Lord through Our Our Lady.
Janine, I am a woman and I agree with you 100%. We were made different, but made to complement eachother. That is why when Adam saw Eve he said, “At last this one is flesh of my flesh.” Something he didn’t do with any other of God’s creation.

I too am searching for the truths of our faith. In fact I am doing alot of research on this.
The king of lies (Satan) is roaming about and is grabing as many people firstly catholics as possible.
I believe he has pulled many by believing ‘false visions’.
I believe we should obey and listen to the Church first. Many are putting apparitions first, and I believe when it comes to the crunch they will follow the apparition and abandon the faith. In saying this, they will think they are doing the right thing.
But many will be the fool to themselves, because they would have refused to recognise the things which proved these apparitions were not froma Divine source.
I have been very busy this year reading the Bible in full, now rereading St Faustina’s dairy to make sense of all these things that are happening around us.
Jesus is the King of Mercy. He wants to give us mercy.
In your search, be careful who you speak to. I have come across forums which there appear to be good people, but when you start reading about people who have dreams and visions of Divine and Satan. I can tell you now, these will be more lies.

Thank you. My search has taken decades, but has come full circle to the unwaivering realization that the Catholic Church has the Truth (and “is the pillar and bullwark of the truth” according to scripture), and Christ is truly present in the Eucharist, which is the source and summit of the faith.
That being said, the church has approved some key private revelations and apparitions:
-La Salette
-St. Faustina, Divine Mercy
-Fatima
-Akita
Garabandal (1961-1965) is reserved from judgement until supernatural character is revealed by fulfilment of the events in the prophecies (Warning & Miracle), or not. However, it was published in 1921, based on interviews with the Fatima seers, that Our Lady in Fatima on October 17, 1917 at the end of the final apparition (prior to the miracle of the sun) said “farewell, until San Sebastian Spain.” Maybe it was thought that she meant San Sebastian, the city, however, the full name of the tiny village of Garabandal is “San Sebastian de Garabandal”.
Other noteworthy signs from the church heirarchy in the matter:
-Before Cardinal Karol Wojtyla was our Pope at the Eucharistic Congress in Philadelphia on Aug. 13, 1976, he declared: “We are now standing in the face of the greatest historical confrontation humanity has gone through. … We are now facing the final confrontation between the Church and the anti-Church, of the Gospel and the anti-Gospel.”
-October 13, 1977 (60th anniversary of the Fatima Apparitions) Pope Paul VI: “The tail of the devil is functioning in the disintegration of the Catholic world. The darkness of Satan has entered and spread throughout the Catholic Church even to its summit. Apostasy, the loss of the faith, is spreading throughout the world and into the highest levels within the Church.” Pope Paul was dead 10 months later.
-May 13th, 1981 (anniversary of 1st Fatima apparition to the day and the hour), Pope John Paul II is shot, but miraculously is not killed. He perceived that Mary saved his life during all that happened that day.
-Benedict XVI (Fatima May 13, 2010): “Preparing the great celebration of the centennial year of the first apparition of Our Lady of Fatima in seven more years (on the 13th of May, 2017). These coming seven years should hasten the fulfillment of the prophecy (Fatima) of the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary to the glory of the Most Holy Trinity.”
-May 1, 2011 (on the Feast of Divine Mercy), Pope John Paul II is beatified.
-May 3, 2011, Blessed Pope John Paul II was moved to a new resting place: The Chapel of “San Sebastian”…(<-link to Garabandal?)
Interesting part of approved La Salette apparition coincides with origin of St Michael Archangel prayer:
Our Lady in La Salette (1846): In the year 1864, Lucifer together with a large number of demons will be unloosed from hell; they will put an end to faith little by little, even in those dedicated to God. They will blind them in such a way, that, unless they are blessed with a special grace, these people will take on the spirit of these angels of hell; several religious institutions will lose all faith and will lose many souls. Evil books will be abundant on earth and the sprits of darkness will spread everywhere a universal slackening of all that concerns the service of God. They will have great power over Nature: there will be churches built to serve these spirits.
…It is possible that the church is saying that the Triumph of the Immaculate heart will be complete by May 13, 2017…

In a spirit of charity, I think Ken was referring to the prophetic utterances of the succesive Popes and the apparitions. (regarding shivers…) I don’t think the other assumption makes sense in context…
The references to Our Lady’s promised return (in saying “Farewell, until San Sebastian Spain” at the close of the Fatima apparitions on 10-13-1917) are reportedly found in two publications, and referred to by a 3rd:
1) A 1921 book, “Os Episodios Maravilhosos de Fatima” (“The Marvelous Episodes of Fatima”) by Rev. Dr. Manuel Formigão, who had interviewed the three shepherd children of Fatima on several occasions.
2) Also written about in the 1937 annals of the Carmelites, a copy of which is reported to be in the Carmelite convent in Coimbra, Portugal where Sr. Lucia died in February,2005.
3) A reference to Rev. Fr. Formigão’s 1921 book is found in, “The Lady More Brilliant than the Sun” by Fr. John de Marchi.
The problem is, I don’t know if number 1 and 2 can be found anywhere and read. I don’t think the 3rd source mentions that specific promise, but it apaprently verify’s the existence of the 1921 book by citing it as a source.
Maybe a good adventure would be to locate a printed copy of this 1921 book and scan the page that contains the promise…because the other option (breaking into the convent in Combria) is probably not a good idea…;-)
I confirm the words of our Lady in Fatima “until San Sebastian Spain”, it’s of course San Sebastian de Garabandal confirmed by the Bishop of Fatima himself and many others Fatimist, we have of course all the necessary documents confirming the words of our Lady.
Conchita has met Sister Lucia herself, you will find all time someone or a group to attack Garabandal in this world, it was like this since the beggining and it will be like this untill the Warning, many members of our Church are againts Garabandal as well.
I know myself that Conchita has still with her the viel of Padre Pio gave to her by a friend of Pio after his death, a doubt about Garabandal is not possible, when most of you will finish to link Medjugorje or any other modern Apparitions with Garabandal, you may start to understand, the possible link with Garabandal are Fatima then Akita, that’s all.

In Medjugorje, during the first week or so the kids asked Our Lady if she appeared in Garabandal. She did not verbally redoing but she smiled. She probably could not say yes since the church had not yet approved it but a smile to me means yes.

Remember it was you who showed me the truth about Medjugorje. This led me to opening my own mind.
So I can see it is obvious that it is NOT The Mother of God appearing in Medjugorje.
Since then, I also looked into Maria of Divine Mercy, whose prophecies are spreeding like an evil fire. It is obvious that she too doesn’t recieve Divine messages.
But I was given a brain by God, so I think I should use it to make sure I am not being decieved with Garabandal too. You know how much I want it to be true,
I will search. If there is nothing to hide, there will be nothing to worry about.
The information about what Our Lady of Fatima said about San Sebastian is wonderful news. But let’s not forget Satan knows what Our Lady said too, so if he can decieve us first, he will.
I believe totally in that we should follow the 2 messages given in Garabandal. It was those 2 messages that gave me a real wake up call.
I do offer at the Holy Table of the Alter a prayer of knowledge on such matters. I have been doing this daily mass since about April. As I know I can’t trust myself in such matters.
I think it is a good idea for everyone to pray for all of us to be given the gift of spiritual knowledge. I do ask the Lord for you all here to have that gift too.

No, I have never been to Medjugorie. I did however visit a site in Enfield Conn.US in 1995. There I took a picture of Mary’s face. It had to be shown to me what I just did. Some see it, most don’t. I,with about 6 members of a daily mass rosary prayer group, that I was part of, and did not know that they would be there, were hit twice with the scent of roses so strong it hurt your nose. Nobody around us had the same reaction as we did. Medjugorie was a big topic at that site. That site received a lot of bad press. But I saw the fruits at that site. I took a picture of our mother Mary.
I have a question regarding Garabandal. Why don’t the Garabandal visionaries ever travel and spread the messages of Our Lady ? I’ve seen interviews online done years ago and my impression was they didn’t appear as if they even wanted to do the interview and it was like pulling teeth to get them to answer questions thouroughly. Especially in this time when it appears the warning will come soon, why aren’t the seers spreading the messages either by TV, Internet or traveling to parishes? I’ve met many Catholics who are familiar with Lourdes and Fatima and many others but have never even heard of Garabandal.

That site was only 15 minutes from my place of work. So I would work, then head over to the site and just wait for “things” to happen, such as the picture I took of Mary. Wake up you people….NOW!!! Read the history of Medjugorje. It was set up ,and promoted AGAINST the wishes of the Church. No other apparition has ever. ever promoted disobedience.
St Faustina told Jesus that she could not, at that time fullfill his wishes (divine meercy image) Her reasonss were that her spiritual director and local Bishop had not approved and therfore by the rules of the Church she could go no further. Frank has an OPINION on Medjugorje like everyone else. Show respect ?? Frank was disrespectful and rude to say, ” PEOPLE WAKE UP” …. To millions of people who have their opinion which is favorable to Medjugorje. To belittle others opinions which are in favor and to yell at them like children is disrespectful in my book.
And yes I saw the Viska video. It does not in any way make me question that Out lady is apiearing. Why u ask? The seers have said they see nothing except Our Lady when she appears. They have been tested for years by science. No one ever jolted an object almost in the eye of a visionary. Viska obviously saw something fast near her eye to react. Weather she even knew she reacted or not I don’t know. In my opinion she was taken off guard, probably scared to know she reacted since they have always said they only see Our Lady when she appears. Yes I believe her explanation that It looked like Mary was dropping Jesus is untrue. I think she thought if she said I saw something come into my visual field fast they would say u are lying because all of you say you see nothing but her. We have never been in ecstasy and we don’t know what it’s like. All exstasies are different. Some can see our lady but also can see people around them, some don’t, some seers in the past we can hear thier voices when they converse, some not, etc…. This in no way makes me think she is pretending to see her. All the other science regarding eye convergency at the same spot by all 6, measuring thier voices being audible at the same moment when they begin to pray after Our Lady begins with,,,”our Father” and I can go on and on. I believe and that’s all. Many hear do and many don’t. That’s fine, everyone is entitled to thier opinions. Lets leave it at that.

Frank, I too had been thinking about leaving the forum. Some might want me gone because I am now having doubts on Garabandal.
Yet they are only doubts.

There are Medjugorje followers everywhere within catholics. Satan is grabbing them with such a decieving manner that it brings him great joy and laughter.

I have promoted Garabandal and Medjugorje. I now know Medjugorje is Satan’s wonders. So now I see that I too have innocently misled people.
So I have decided, even if I totally believe in Garabandal again, I will not promote it unless the Church gives approval.
I will happily promote Fatima and St Faustina, and let’s face it. Do we need to know anymore than these two?
I do hope to read your words again Frank. You have helped me in the past, and maybe you can help me in the future.
You too have obviously read St Faustina’s diary, and as I am reading it again and taking notes, I am going to need to talk to others about it, so I can try and make some sense with the times we are living.

I thought you might be interested in this piece of information. He nephew of Sr. Lucia from Fatima stated that Our Lady continued to appear to her throughout her life. Sr. Lucia has reported that Mary has mentioned her appearances in Medjugorje to her up until her death in 2005 ! First time I’ve heard this. Sr. Lucia’s nephew is Father Salinho- a Salesian priest in Portugal. This report was documented by the French author Sister Emmanuel Millard in her book ” Medjugorje, triumph of the heart”. Look up his name and the topic and I’m sure this information will come up.
Have never been to Medjugorje. Do they serve the Eucharist therre? In amongst the seers talks, do they serve the Eucharist with a Mass? Disobedience from the Vatican would mean any Eucharist being served has been blessed with something other than the body and blood of Jesus Christ. Revelations Chapter 2:20 “you tolerate the woman Jezebel who claims to be a prophetess, and by her teaching she is luring my servants away to commit the adultery of eating food which has been sacrificed to idols. 21 I have given her time to repent but she is not willing to repent of her adulterous life”. Medjugorje has been given a very LONG time to repent.

Have you read Saint John Bosco’s account of Hell? Disobedience is the root of all evil. Disobedience is the fruit of Medjugorje. It has created a divide between traditional Catholicism and those who just want to desperately believe the easier path of Medjugorje. Satan is very clever, he knows to walk the walk and talk the talk of Catholicism to rope so many in. Had Medjugorje been an obvious stray from the church, then not as many would have followed. The prophecy that even the elect will be fooled – it is so true. As for the ‘odd thing’ I have written, I am worried people are receiving a Eucharist that is blessed by the devil. And that is a Bible quote from Revelations, there is nothing odd about it. It is the word of God.

There is also false ‘documented’ accounts from Saint Padre Pio on the 3 days darkness, a false account on La Salette, which is approved but there is a false account floating around the internet. People make up a lot of things to prove something they believe in. There is a youtube clip of one of the seers flinching when someones hand waves infront of her, then she proceeds to lie about why she did that. Everything predicted at Medjugorje hasn’t come true. Not one thing, apart from the obvious cult it has become. There are thousands of good people who follow Medjugorje, but they are not converted because of it. They are converted because God called them home. The most solid thing they all rely on is the time the bombs didn’t explode when dropped on the village – if a miracle then it was God’s, not Medjugorje. He probably didn’t want his flock of stray lambs being killed due to the work of the devil – who lead everyone there to be killed. Or, maybe those bombs were faulty? Or even made up…whoever knows. The internet is not exactly a trust worthy source. As for hatred, I have no hatred for the followers of Medjugorje. I just wish they would focus more on the end of times and less on the rosey wonderful happiness they gain from being completely distracted from their vocations and the seriousness of the world at present. I don’t doubt there is paranormal activity in Medjugorje, but seeing photos of visions of Mary with two heads…it is pretty obvious. The on cue messages are monthly, and generic so they suit everyone – much like star signs.

Remember, I was a believer until Aviso gave me information regarding the wealth made by the seers.
I wish I was wrong. But I’m not.
The unfortunate thing is. The people who believe Medjugorje is authentic, they recieve their information from the official Medj web site, and unfortunately there are some disobedient Franciscan’s who are involved, these are probably the ones who are NOT in line with the Vatican, so therefore aren’t true priest. Which means they can not consecrate the bread into the true body of Christ.
I am not wanting to be a ‘Medj basher’ as Paul puts it.
I am just trying to show all the truth.
I am sick of talking about it, just as much as I’m sick of reading about it.
All I ask, is for those who believe in it, is to find the truth too.

Hey Paul! I have a dog that gets me up very early every morning (like 3am) so I say my Rosary and some other prayers then. I like to go on my computer to a live web cam at St. Mary’s Church in Navan Parish Ireland which has 24 hour Eucharistic Adoration so I am able to pray in front of the Blessed Sacrament. I have a collection of other prayers that I like to say such as the Saint Gertrude prayer, the different prayers given to us at Fatima, I seem to keep adding new ones as time goes by. I say the Chaplet of Divine Mercy on my way to work as I have CD of it. While I am at work and I get a chance I try to say “Jesus, Mary and Joseph, I love you, save souls. At night I like to read a couple of pages from Pelianito’s book of messages. Thanks for asking. What is your routine?
Wow Patty, that is wonderful ! I like the idea that you go online to that church in Ireland for the exposition of the Blessed Sacranent and pray before it, especially when we can’t be present at a church close to us. Wonderful idea- I will try that as well.
3x/wk I have a 45 min drive to my one job so I say the Rosary in my car. The other days I try to say a decade at night after dinner. I pray a prayer for the souls in Purgatory often during the day, pray my own prayer and one I got from the missionaries of charity ( Mother Teresa congregation) that I love. For lent this year I will fast one day a wk on bread & water like I used to. Any time I experience physical or emotional pain whether its a sore leg, back, headache or other I offer up the pains for the conversion of sinners and souls in purgatory. I stop by at my church when I can during the wk to sit and pray in front of the tabernacle and mass on Saturday or Sunday.

Paul, I grew up in Vermont and then lived in Alabama for many years in Huntsville and then Gulf Shores. In 2007 we moved back to Vermont so I could take care of my Mom. She passed away last March at the age of 91. We now live in New Hampshire and I am working at a candle making plant. Did you say you lived in Florida? What area? We were close to Pensacola when we lived in Gulf Shores. What sort of work do you do?
Great Patty, I’m originally from Buffalo NY, then went to Nazareth College and lived in Rochester NY till 2001 when I moved to Atlanta. I’ve been in Atlanta ever since. I am a speech pathologist who works with adult stroke, head injury and many dementia patients in nursing facilities. I also love hospice work and may go into that aspect of care in the next few yrs.
Paul, what a wonderful profession you are in. The man that started our company had a stroke two months ago and he is just starting speech therapy. If you eventually get into hospice care Mother Teresa would be very proud of you. My brother that got the letter from Mother Teresa lives in Marietta!

Joey, in a1995 video, was asked if the warning or the miracle would come in the year 2000.He said I hope so, but we don’t know God’s ways.
Maybe she meant “Communism” meaning atheism spreading, I’m not sure but time will tell. My impression is that the warning and miracle will commence at least by 2017 – 100yr anniversary of Fatima. That is 5 more years in which many changes for the worse can happen.

If Garabandal is authentic, it has to happen soon after a synod. We have just had one 3 months ago, but it can’t be too soon because the world isn’t at it’s worse as the seers said.
Communism has to return too. Yes, this can happen overnight.

ALL the predictions must happen as Our Lady said. If they don’t ALL happen, Garabandal can’t be from a Divine source.
At this stage Joey is going to be quite old for the miracle. He MUST be alive for it.
I am still wanting to know if the sterile couple have had a baby boy yet? It is said that Our Lady said they will have a son at the time of the miracle. This couple (if still alive) would also be in their 80′s now.

Sister Lucia said that the Consecration of Russia was done by Pope John Paul II according the Vatican, we know that it was wrong.
There is always rumors and what our Lady has said to the Garabandal seers, which is completely different, in any doubt it’s better to check out twice espcially when you want to talk about Garabandal and refer to the words of the seers during the apparitions only.

I thought the videos in 27 languages made the messages of Garabandal more accessible to the whole world. The visionaries don’t need to travel to spread the Garabandal messages.

You know how much I loved being in Garabandal, and I recieved a wonderful grace in being there. I experienced the presence of Our Lady in my heart at the pines that brought me to tears.
But I hear the same sort of things happen to others in Medjugorje, so I know Satan’s power in decieving God’s children.
So today, I am not 100% convinced.
But as you know, I am not a person who closes my heart and mind on such matters. My mind is on a journey of finding the truth, I have to do my best in this. Prayer is helping me. I offer at the Holy Mass every day for spiritual knowledge. I ask The Good Lord to give it to you too Aviso and others on this and another forum.
Please always remember, whether I believe Garabandal is authentic or not, I too am a child of Christ’s. I will always believe in the Faith, and will try to be obedient to what the church says.
We are told, we don’t have to believe in apparitions, even ones that are approved eg. Fatima. Mind you, I don’t understand why a Catholic wouldn’t believe in an apparition that has been given Church approval.
The messages of Garabandal are very good for me. I am trying to live by them.
But it is the messages of Jesus we need to live, and these include the messages of Garabandal.
So my point is. Fatima, Garabandal etc… is not the core of our faith. The core is Jesus and the Gospel.
But Jesus wants His Mother to come to us and guide us, and isn’t this a wonderful gift?
I certainly hope it is Our Lady who appeared in Garabandal, this would give me great happiness.

It was printed in 2001
This book I recieved from the official Garabandal promoters. So therefore they say it is correct.
When comes to this sort of thing, I have been careful from whom I recieve my information. If something is just what I saw from the internet, or is something I have just heard, I will say. Because I understand the internet or other people can get things wrong.
But the information I give you now is from the official Garbandal promoters.
Page 160. Mari-Loli and Conchita revealed…..”you will have a son for the day of the miracle!” The sterility of the couple, source of a long separation ot the two, is a trial that will come to an end in a prodigious and miraculous way. Paloma (the lady to have the baby) born in 1931.
My question is…. Who knows if this lady has a son?
Page 147. Maximina, a very young widow, had two children, one of them a boy only a few months when, in 1962, Conchita was told in an ecstacy that he would become a priest.
My question….This boy, he is now 50 years old. Is he a priest?.
Page 87. (Talking about Father Luis who died) …..it was revealed to Conchita that on the day following the miracle, his body will be found just as he was, when he died!
My Question….. I had read on the internet, Father Luis’ body had been dug up and it was not incorrupt.
Page 147. “The miracle will be very great one. The Pope, wherever we may want him to be, will see it. And Padre Pio as well.”
My reply…. Padre Pio did not live to see the miracle, and yes I know it is rumoured that he saw it before he died.
Even though I think, if Our Lady said he will see it, She would mean, he would see it as the rest of us see it.
But, I can accept the ‘seeing it before he died’ as long as the other things above can be cleared up.
My reading of St Faustina and Jesus’ Divine Mercy has also given me a different out look on the illumination of conscience, in which I will share some other time.

You people are good at trying to put doubts into people’s minds. Look at the videos. Does it appear like the children are play acting or real? In my opinion – real. I will hold onto my belief system until we see what happens with Joey. He is the canary in the mine shaft for me.
I agree Ken, for early teenagers as in Garabandal and jacov from medjugorje ( 10 at the time) to pretend to look at something for almost an hour is just impossible. You cannot bribe a 10 yr old to do that unless he was truly seeing a heavenly being.

Besides, I don’t deny the children of Garabandal are in ecstasy.
But I am questioning to whom were they seeing? Hopefully it was The Mother of God.

When I was in Garabandal May 2012, they were just completing the road to Garabandal.
I was amazed at the money being spent to a road that leads to a dead end, to a town that will be a ghost town within 20 years because of the aging population.
A country that has no money was doing this work. I couldn’t help thinking this was the work of The Lord.
But at the end of the day. Mary doesn’t lie. All her predictions come true, so I need some answers.

I just had a thought on the timing of the illumination of conscience.
It is Jesus’ disire for the world to know of His Great Mercy. And yet there are still many catholics that do not know about this. Sadly, most parishes do not celebrate this feast day, my parish included.
God’s work is patient. He doesn’t rush things. He always works things for His greater glory. He decides the time.
I think the parishes will have to get direction from the Holy Father to make this feast day of The Divine Mercy, a day that is one of the most important days on the Catholic calender. Then, and only then, will we all know about it.
So this time is not yet here. There is still time to spread the message of Jesus’ Divine Mercy. But probably not alot of years.
I am learning that Satan’s greatest hate is. The spreading of the message of Jesus Divine Mercy.

Hello Paul, I am no expert on La Salette, but to my understanding, Our Lady only appeared once 19th Sept, the feast day of Our Lady of Sorrows.
Last year I spoke about La Salette. It is funny, the apparition has been approved but the secrets haven’t. But that is not to say the secrets aren’t true. Personally, I believe the secrets.
Sadly, 1846, the people made Our Heavenly Mother cry because of blasphemy and not keeping the sabath day holy.
Today in 2013, we haven’t learnt. In fact now we are worse. We have even been able to justify working on Sundays.
Since I learnt about La Salette, I now make sure I do all I can on the Saturday eg. washing, ironing etc so to keep Sundays for rest and family.
As for shopping on a Sunday. I never do it. If I duck in to buy something I do feel guilty. :/
What I do enjoy doing is. I love to return things on a Sunday so it reverses profit.
I believe La Salette has alot to do with ‘end times’. Do you?
Thanks for the information Janine. I don’t know much about La Sallette and just recently looking into her message from this apparition. What I have read thus far I do agree with you regarding Sundays should truly be a day of rest and prayer / mass. I do believe her messages from La Salette are regarding our times now as well as this age will see the warning, miracle and a new era.
Paul, How I see the way Our Lady comes to us is by means of saying what She needs to say, then leaves it with the free will we have.
Our Lady of La Salette has given us 2 important messages, and we don’t obey them. (our free will).
This is very much like Lourdes and Fatima.

One thing is not sitting with me it’s…. “The Warning”
Now I could be wrong, but I am going with my gut feeling here.
Reading St Faustina, the illumination of conscience does not come across as a ‘warning’, but more like Jesus Divine Mercy is going to be given to us in great proportions.
Calling it a ‘warning’ gives us fear.
Calling it ‘Jesus’ Mercy’ gives us love and peace.
One thing is absolutely clear with St Faustina is…….
Jesus is going to open His heart of Mercy to us.
It is not to be feared at all. We need to accept this.
All I read on the internet in forums is people saying “go to confession now” because they think this ‘warning’ will be soon. It comes across as if, if we are sinful during the warning, we are going to be in heaps of trouble.
Well. I say NO. We won’t be in trouble.
Jesus says the greatest sinners will also be open to this Divine Mercy.
So not too long ago, I too felt fearful for Jesus showing me my sins during the warning. But I don’t feel like this anymore. I feel far more at peace.
Now I am not wanting a debate on whether Garabandal is from a Divine source right now.
But I ask the question.
What I have just said, Does this make sense?
Everyone answer me honestly.
How have you felt this illumination of conscience will be? Have you felt a little fearful? Or are you longing for Jesus’ love and Mercy to be poured on you?
Please. I do want everyone to write and say honestly how they feel.
We are all on this journey together, so we also need to help each other.
And no. I haven’t made up my mind on Garabandal as yet. I am just looking at everything properly now.
Janine, I am looking forward to the illumination of my conscience. I am not afraid but I think it will be truly disgusting and sorrowful for me. When Saint Faustina underwent her illumination (page 19 of paperback #36) she said “I saw the complete condition of my soul as God sees it. I could clearly see all that is displeasing to God. I did not know that even the smallest transgressions will have to be accounted for. What a moment! Who can describe it? To stand before the Thrice Holy God! Jesus asked me “who are you? I answered, “I am your servant, Lord.” You are guilty of one day of Purgatory. I wanted to throw myself immediately into the flames of purgatory, but Jesus stopped me and said, “which do you prefer, suffer one day now in purgatory or for a short while on earth?”
I want this second chance like Saint Faustina, to have a fresh start and have my purgatory on earth.

All souls go to purgatory?
Not many people pray for their loved ones who have died. Many want to think their loved ones go straight to heaven.
You sound as if your knowledge on St Faustina is quite good.
Tell me. Do you think if we go through the door of Mercy, that means we go straight to Heaven?
Or do you see it that if we take the door of Mercy we still live through the chastisment and escape justice?
Jesus said (I’m going from memory) If you take the door of Mercy, you will not have to go through the door of judgement.
This sounds so incredibly generous. Jesus is so kind and Merciful. He is inviting the most sinful people to take this mercy. We might be that lucky generation that escape the God of justice.
Janine & Patty, great discussion. I am not afraid of the Illumination but I admit I used to be. I think we often ” fear” God which I don’t think he wants but to trust in him with love.
I agree Janine that we should probably refer to it as the ” illumination of conscious” instead of the ” warning”. I don’t think The Lord wants his children to be afraid of him but to realize we are sinners and need to ask him for forgiveness with a true heart of avoiding those sins thereafter – to change with prayer, grace and divine assistance so we can remain in a state of grace and choose to avoid those occasions of sin in our individual lives. I think our souls so yearn to be connected in the way it was created to be with God and the only way it can be is when we are “clean” from sin. I know each of our poor actions will be shown to us but I feel it will be in a spirit of love so that yes we will likey feel bad for doing what we did but with his immense love and mercy we will be sustained.

Gosh, you people must be saints. I really try to live a good life and be a good dad and husband, but I have been a sinner a long time. Not proud of some things I have done. For me, I am not looking forward to it. Guess I will have to hold onto something tight alot like riding a fast ride at the carnival when it happens.
Call it what you want people, but with Garabandal, it is called the warning, and it won’t be fun for anyone. When it is done, we will love God and treat our fellowman with kindness like never before.
How do you teach a bad child a lesson, with a lolipop?
I think each individual illumination will be very different for each person. Those who disregard God and want nothing to do with him will likely feel more of a pain or wrath kind of remorse but those who believe in him and have active prayer lives with church and good intention hearts will be treated with more mercy during the illumination. Only God knows what each person truly needs to realize, feel and understand to make a complete turn around in behavior.

No, I certainly don’t see myself as a Saint. Although I, like you, are called to be saints.
I agree, I won’t enjoy seeing my sins. I know the horrid I have done. But in recent years I have tried my best in doing the right thing always. Sadly I still affend God in what I do.
The reason I brought this subject up was.
It was very clear to me this illumination of conscience should be something we should look forward to, because Jesus is coming with His Great Mercy, His unfathamable Mercy. This is is going to be the best gift He has given us.
We are so undeserving, but He will still open His heart to us.
Like a true loving Father, He will show us what we have done wrong, but then he will forgive us only if we are truely sorry, only if we come to Him as a child. He will embrace us with His Great Mercy.
Jesus is not someone we should be fearing. Fear does NOT come from God. Remember that.
This messages comes from Jesus to us, through St Faustina.
St Faustina said, Satan does not want us to know about Jesus mercy. Satan tormented her about this. So I suppose if he hates it that much, he won’t want us to know this illumination of conscience will come with Jesus’ Great Mercy.

I want to say this too. I don’t feel that comfortable about ME talking about such things. I know I am not worthy. Many times I have felt as if I don’t want to talk any more.

Janine, what you say does make sense. Up to about 4 years ago, I wouldn’t worry so much, but since my son died and because I failed to stop it, I live with it every day of my life. As bad as it feels, by my act of failure, I don’t to see what God thinks of me.

I can only imagine how hard it is to lose a child. This must be so painful.
I can give you many words to try and comfort you. But I am sure you have heard them all. All I can do is offer up prayers for you.
But please do not be so hard on yourself. Remember God’s mercy.
Jesus also says to St Faustina. The thing that offends Him the most is not the sins, but when people don’t trust Him.
So Ken, put your trust in Jesus. He knows you are sorry, so you must accept His forgiveness.
Jesus wants to give YOU His Great Mercy. Can I suggest to you to start looking forward to it.
I don’t know your situation. But I get the feeling you did for your son the best the thought at the time. We as parents can only do that.

Ken, so sorry for the loss of your son. I can’t even imagine. I’m sure your son is in the loving mercy and peace of Our Lord and he will be your angel till you join him in Paradise.
Our son had issues and was 22. We tried to take him to the hospital but he fought us and wouldn’t go that night. So, my wife and I tried to keep our eyes on him the rest of the night. Well, we failed again. Next thing we hear a gun shot. My teenage daughter was the first one in the back yard to find him. So, not only did we fail to protect him but also the trauma our daughter suffered with and still is.
Ken, my 4 children are around that age.

I will say what probably many others have said….
You did the best you could.
Sure if you knew the exact moment he was taking the gun to himself, you would not have let your daughter go to him.
But how can you know this?
It is not possible to be with someone 100% of the time.
All you can do for your son now is…
Pray for him. Pray the Divine Chaplet for him every day. Preferably at 3pm.
Seek the Merciful Jesus.
You are very much needed as a father to him now. So you must have faith and TRUST in Jesus.
The only way you can fail him is by not praying for him.
Offer your pain to the Merciful Jesus as your sacrifice. It will hurt Satan immensely, and draw your son closer to Jesus.
Today, I will offer the chaplet up for your son too. I will also offer it up for your daughter, wife and you as one family.

Ken, When Jesus comes with His Great Mercy, don’t try and explain to Jesus. Just ask for forgiveness. Then let Him do the rest.

Ken, my heart aches for you and your family. One powerful prayer you can do for your son is to gain a plenary indulgence for him.
To attain a plenary indulgence, three conditions must accompany the prescribed act:
the faithful must receive the sacrament of confession, either eight days before or after the pious act is performed,
receive Holy Communion on that day
and recite prayers for the intentions of the Holy Father. The Apostles Creed, the Our Father, and a Hail Mary or the Memorare.
There are different acts that you can do to be able to gain a plenary indulgence. One is to make a holy hour before the Blessed Sacrament.
The Holy Father has granted to all the bishops in the world to name pilgrim churches in their diocese for the Year of Faith and that people who visit these churches can receive a plenary indulgence for themselves or for the faithful departed. I am very fortunate that my church, Saint Michaels’s in Vermont has been named a Pilgrim Church. Every Sunday and Holy Day this year I am working on gaining indulgences for my deceased relatives and friends. Then I ask them to pray for me.
Your son will be so happy to be released from purgatory that day if he is still there and you will have another saint in heaven praying for you.
I would like to thank everyone for their kindness, thoughts and prayers. When addressing a prayer breakfast, George Bush once said that prayer is the greatest gift one can give you. And, yet, we don’t know each other but I am not surprised by the kindness of christian people. I know this is off topic, but Janine asked me about it, so I responded. Let me say just one more thing. I have a 25 minute drive to and from work. During that time, my radio is off and I am in prayer. My first prayer each time is for my son Josh. When I am in conversations with others and prayer comes up, you would be surprised at the number of people who are surprised that I still pray from my departed son. The response is that he is gone and is where ever he should be. I learned at a very early age through Roman Catholic Nuns at a catholic school that it is important to continue to pray for our dear departed ones. There are masses still said for him and he is in the book of perpetual prayer. So, he is prayed for each and everyday. Anyway, thank you all for your kindness and sorry to go off topic so much on this matter.
Ken, I totally agree with you it is so important to pray for our departed. When my mother died 2 yrs ago I was so depressed and filled with anxiety about where she was. I cried & cried and asked God to let me know where she was. I was literally pulling my hair one night as I was hysterical. Few nights later I had a vivid dream of me, my mom and an unknown lady in a pew in our hometown church. The unknown lady had the baton sprinkling herself with holy water. My mom asked her, why are you doing that? She said, ” oh I have cancer and I need this”. My mom asked, can I have some? The lady passed the holy water baton to my mom and she started sprinkling herself to the point she was almost completely wet with the holy water. I said, ” mom what are you doing??”. She said, ” oh honey, you don’t understand – I need this so bad”. After she was done she grabbed my hand, winked at me and said let’s go. I woke up. Not sure what that meant I called my friend Elisa ( very holy woman ) I told her the dream and without saying anything she said to me,” Paul – what a beautiful sign God has given you that your Mother is in purgatory and needs prayers & masses “. I didn’t understand and Elisa said sprinkling holy water is not only for a blessing but also means to pray for souls in Purgatory ! I never heard of that so I researched the connection with sprinkling of holy water and Purgatory and all this verifying info popped up !! I was amazed and now knew where my Mother was. I have prayed for her daily and had a year of masses said for her soul. I continue to have masses said even now. I have been at peace about this since that incredible dream. I also found out that when we say the name if the departed person and pray for then – at that very moment they can see us on earth praying for them. Not sure which saint had this vision or word from God now but I read this about a yr ago and it brings me even more peace!

People like to think we go straight to Heaven. But it sounds as if the nuns taught you well.
I was born in 1963 and went to Catholic schools, but I came out with such little knowledge.
Sadly, Satan is winning this fight about where our souls go. Therefore most people don’t pray for the dead.
I wish our priests would do more about it, even at funerals. Because we should be thinking about the departed souls not of our own feelings.

Thank you Janine and yes I do pray to the Blessed Virgin every day too. That is very good advice. If you look at the weather climate it is not the same as when we were children. It is a fact that the earth’s axis has moved a bit the last few years and now you are seeing the changes slowly take place. With more earthquakes, I foresee the axis moving even more. Yes, the times are a coming. You can feel it in your very nature and bones. The 60 million dollar question is when and how much longer? Slowly but surely, everything is coming along. Politics, weather, more falling away from God, godlessness, false religions, the taking of life whether pre-natal or the sickly old and the rise of violence around the world. The pieces of the puzzle are coming together. It is just a matter of time and I believe it is within our life time.

We are living in the pre warning era when things get worse and worse. I would hope that we are starting to wine down on these and not just getting started. I think Joey would agree with this.
I personally think more natural disasters will increase in frequency and damage this and the coming years. I feel it will get to the point when people ( even unbelievers) will say, ” what in the heck is going on”??
I sometimes read what other people say on other forums. People have been saying for some years ‘the time is near’. Yet we are still waiting.
I read back to what I said on this forum in early 2011, I thought when the Arab spring started in Jan 2011 things were going to esculate at an alarming rate. I actually thought all would be upon us by the end of that year.
I think Ken has it right here. He says “slowly but surely”.
I found my life was being dictated to because of the Garabandal prophecies.
I found I wouldn’t plan certain things because “it is going to happen soon!”
As a believer of Garabandal everyone thinks it is going to be soon. They have been saying that since the reign of Pope John Paul 11 in 1978.
I don’t worry about it too much now. And believe me, I do feel more free.
The Gospel says to recognise the signs. Yes, the signs are showing, but we don’t know when. If Garabandal is true, it has to be soon. Joey is nearly 83. And I still want to know if this 83 year old woman has had a son yet.
I don’t know how many times Jesus said in the gospel “not to fear”. This is something He says for a reason.
When Jesus comes with His unfathamable Divine Mercy, there will be nothing to fear. Sure, we will feel absolutely awful when we see how we have offended God. But He will do this in a loving way, don’t you think so?
Now Jesus said, “those who come through the door of His Mercy, won’t have to go through the door of judgement.”
How merciful and loving is that!

Do you think He will take us then? Or what can this mean?
I think after our illumination of conscience, if we have chose Our Lord’s Mercy, we will joyfully face any persecution that we will encounter. Look at how Peter and all the frightened apostles went right out into the courtyards near the upper room and bravely started preaching the Good News after the descent of the Holy Spirit. They were no longer afraid, they knew the Truth totally and they believed it was worth dying for. That’s what I am hoping for.
The main key is what Jesus said about end times: nation against nation; rumors of war; great upheavals with the environmen. Yet what was the final thing he said? Do not fear because these things have to happen.
Also, I was thinking the other night about prophecies. I recall reading a few articles over the years concerning prophecies. What the articles said was that prophecies do not have to happen unless people get their act together and act in the way of God. So, as we see alot of the bad things happening as prophecized such as the climate changes; the craziness of the Middle East and the ungodliness going around – perhaps and I say perhaps – God doesn’t see it our way. There are still alot of people who pray for peace and try to do the right thing. God sees and knows all. He is holding off from doing anything because there are still a whole heck of a lot of good people.
It reminds me of the story of Lot. Lot asked God if he could find one person who is worthy in the cities of Sodom & Gomorra, would God not punish the cities. God told Lot to go out and find one person and he wold hold back his judgement. Well, you know the rest of the story. The point being, yes, things appear to be worsening in every area, but God will hold back his judgement until it is way out of control. And, you can bet that the Blessed Virgin is also praying for us and trying to influence God to protect us as much as possible.
Those words are so true.
But doesn’t it also say something about if there are 3 in the fields, 2 will be taken the good included?

While I believe the chastisement can be watered down because of the good. I’d have to say it’s unavoidable. Gospel says it will happen.
But why is it being said all will happen by 2017?
Just because it will be 100 years since Fatima.
Why not 2033?
My point being. These are just dates again. We do not know.
Dates keep on being presented to us like it’s fact. But these dates continue to be wrong.

To be honest with you, I’m a little frightened. I sure hope Our Lord won’t show me my confessed sins. I guess I’m afraid to see how badly I’ve hurt Him. I know I’ve hurt Him a lot…However, I also believe it will be a wonderful grace. On earth, we are so clouded by sin. How many sins have I committed that I’ve justified at the time, but have hurt other people? Have I wasted an opportunity to show His love to others? When that veil is lifted, I will see my soul as He sees it. Yes, I believe it will be painful, but necessary. At the same time, I’m looking forward to it. I hope it turns a lot of hearts away from sin, and converts those that are hardened.

You will get the warning but the warning is not to fix any problems, the warning of God will be terrible, please do not listen the ones who are saying that it will be a time of Mercy, the Mercy is now and we better be ready, as Conchita has said herself, I’ll prefer to died than to live the Warning.

Yes the warning will be serious and we will feel terrible for how we offended him, however, it is just that … A warning or illumination of our soul to correct what we need to correct and in any lesson of correction there is also live and mercy from our lord. When my son died almost 4 years ago, the one thing the priest told us was that St. Faustina had said that at the point of death, God calls out to you and if you listen, you can be saved. My son had his issues, but was a good kid and he served as an alter server all the way through high school. So, he knew. So, there still is hope for us to believe. Never ever, stop preaching about St. Faustina. It is the right direction to take.
Janine, those are good points you stated regarding the loving mercy of Christ. I do not believe he wants us to approach him out of fear and a sense of doom and gloom but rather a loving merciful Father. Just think how our parents love us with a human and likely a conditional love and compare that to Jesus love for us which is a billion times a billion more than our parents ( and that’s just scratching the surface). Always remember Our Lord and Lady have always said to believers….” DO NOT BE AFRAID, I am with you”.

I want to share something else.
In Australia last year, on TV they were advertising “Jesus Divine Mercy”.
Obviously, this is an expensive thing to do, so it didn’t come on as much as the ‘coke’ adds.
But the people behind this are wanting to do it again. They need money obviously. So the more who put in the more His Mercy will be shown for all.
I said some days ago…. I believe this illumination of conscience won’t happen until the world knows about Jesus’ Divine Mercy. Or at least us Christians. (just my own thoughts)
I only heard about this 2 years ago. And yes, I went to catholic schools.
Jesus said. “Those who come through the door of His Mercy, will not have to go through the door of judgement.”

2 years ago, I spent alot of time with a dying aunt. I was there more than anyone. I was annoyed that I wasn’t told she was in her last hours. Although, I was phoned immediately once she had died. I was there within 15 minutes of death. I prayed the Divine Mercy Chaplet over her.
I was unsure what benefit it had, as I wasn’t there during death. But I’m sure it had some effect.
Only a few months ago, I gave this chaplet to an eldely lady who’s sister was also dying. When she did die, she prayed this Divine Mercy Chaplet over her sister. So I believe Jesus stood between her and God, and by doing this certainly tormented Satan who was trying to grab her soul.

I too have been to Garabandal. Twice in fact. In 2011 and 2012. I was lucky enough to have met Jacinta and was blessed by the Crucifix that was alleged to have been bless by Mary.
Last year I met Maria Saroco who told me of her 21st Dec prediction. I also got to speak many times to Jacinta’s brother.
He says he believes in the apparitions.
Garabandal changed my life, no doubt!
I use to go to church maybe 25-30 times a year. Now I go to daily mass, monthly confession and basicly trying to live the messages, but more importantly to live the Gospel.
In time, I have realised the importance of staying obediant to the faith, to our Holy Father.
I now realise Satan is very powerful and he is focusing on families and especially catholics. The fight is on!
This time last year I also believed in Medjugorje and Maria Divine Mercy. Thanks to Aviso, he showed me things about Medjugorje to make me realise it is not the Mother of God appearing there.
There were some good people on this forum who showed me MDM was not true either.
So since then, I pray daily for the gift of spiritual truth. I had no idea I would end up having doubts over Garabandal.
If people only knew how much I want it to be true.
I just don’t know. But I know my doubts are growing daily.
I am sorry your prayers haven’t been answered.
Now I know may will hate me saying this.. But I will.
Just in case it wasn’t Our Lady appearing there, why don’t you pray to Our Lady of Fatima, or Lourdes?
Or offer your needs to Jesus in His Divine Mercy. Offer your prayers in the Divine Mercy Chaplet.
Today at 3pm, I will offer your needs to Jesus’ Divine Mercy, and I’m sure he will hear, as long as it won’t interfere with your spiritual well being.
