Vote For Mike Kelly, PA-3! Endorsed By Sarah Palin
Sarah Palin endorsed Mike Kelly (R-PA, 3rd District) to beat Kathy Dahlkemper, who voted for ObamaCare. Sarah’s website is “Take Back The 20″ (http://takebackthe20.com.) Mike Kelly was interviewed by The National Review; he even crafted a BETTER “Pledge To America” but his is called “Contract With The 3rd Congressional District.” One page, with bullet points-very easy to read.
He’s six points ahead in the polls, even though Dahlkemper was born and raised in Erie; the family business is jewelry, and they have the money.
If you don’t remember her, she’s the only female that was with the “blue dogs” along Bart Stupak on ObamaCare being passed. She was also the brains behind that language in the law that includes children under ObamaCare in your household till they are 26 years of age. Therefore, she got all of us “Stupack’d.” That was my Tea Party sign.

More Blogs Needed To Call Obama To Task
If you have the time, the knowledge and the skills, write about it. Create your own blog. It’s very easy, and if you get serious and want to pitch in some cash, it is very affordable. Every voice out there is either unheard of, is not famous or has a very large audience. What is needed right now is more people involved on the Internet to call Obama to task; to voice your distaste or support for any bill that goes through Congress and the House. To counteract attacks against Governor Palin, spread her message to those that don’t get to read it through “other sources”, and to take a stand and defend what is right for this country, as Sarah Palin does.
Get help if you don’t know how to create your blog. I bet you can find anybody in your own family or a friend that can lay the grounds for you to just work. Educate yourself on the topics you want to write about; I am no expert by all means, but read other blogs of interest and there is one thing to keep in mind: Links to prove your point. By that, I mean go ahead and research, grab that news article or that presentation and link it to your post.
There are dozens of thousands of us, and we will welcome many more of each of you. Give it a shot, and with time it might take over a good chunk of time of the day; but it’s worth it.
Pelosi Collects $150K From PR’s Democrat Donors For This November
As I posted previously, Nancy Pelosi is in Puerto Rico this weekend, picking up donations from Puerto Rican affluent Democrats (not the general public) for this November’s elections. Why does this matter? She already has in the bag $150,000 that the Resident Commish, Pedro Pierluisi helped collect for her.
She has to leave the country to get funds for the DNC campaign in a futile attempt for Dems to gain or retain (tsk tsk, jobs saved or created). She has to think twice before wishing that Puerto Rico gets a vote in the House, because that seat can be Republican anytime. Be careful what you wish for, Nancy-because you might get it to work against you.
Puerto Rico is not a “model” for the United States. Puerto Rico is struggling-borderline drowning-as much as many of the states in the Union. Republican Governor Luis Fortuño is having great difficulty dealing with all the cuts he had to do, get that budget down and fix the economy as best as possible in such short amount of time. If he was the confrontational and more assertive type, he’d be as close to Chris Christie is on New Jersey; Fortuño has to deal with, surprise: Unions! It is yet to be seen how Governor Fortuño can fix the island’s issues without the rest of the people, the teacher’s unions, the AEE’s union and even the Trucker’s union!
Puerto Ricans must stand up, shake things up, go back to basics and look back at the hard work that their families did in order for the island to move ahead. Unfortunately like in many other instances, greed and corruption has stood in the way and the island is stalled. This governor-or the next one- will need to step up to the plate, bring up a much needed change in attitude and have a more forward-looking island with positivism and optimism.

Nancy Pelosi Is In Puerto Rico And Has Gone Gaffetastic!

Pelosi supports Pierluisi
The leader of the House stated that the Resident Commissioner must have the right to vote in Congress.

By Yanira Hernández Cabiya/ yhernandez@elnuevodia.com
The president of the Federal House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, affirmed today that she supports that Puerto Rico’s Resident Commissioner, Pedro Pierluisi (D-PR) gets his right to vote in Congress’s federal floor.
At a press conference, Pelosi admitted that in order for the Resident Commissioner to have a complete right to vote in Congress she would need a bi-partisan support that does not exist right now.
“What I’d like to tell the people in Congress is that all the people who live in Puerto Rico are American citizens,” said Pelosi, where she also pointed out that it is necessary to get to a halfway point between the ”inconceivable and unavoidable.”
Pelosi is currently visiting the island to be part of a fundraising event on behalf of the Democrat Party’s Congress’ elections for this November.
As part of the visit, the House leader held a meeting this morning with Governor Luis Fortuño (R-PR) and later on gathered a report from some of the island’s agency leaders that has a run-down of the progress of their work so far with the funds received through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (English initials, ARRA). The agency leaders that were present were Puerto Rico’s IRS Secretary, Juan Carlos Puig; Housing, Miguel Hernández; Justice, Guillermo Somoza; and Health, Lorenzo González, as well as lawmakers and members of the private industry.
Pelosi feels pleased with the work that Puerto Rico has done so far and said that the Island is a model for the rest of the nation.
The Leader of the House arrived yesterday to the Island and was part of a fundraiser dinner at a residence of an entreprenour’s family in Guaynabo.
Democrats Are Cashing In Out Of The United States
Democrats are going out of the country for fund-raising purposes, and I reiterate it’s too bad that the GOP doesn’t have the same flexibility or interest that the Democrats do have when it comes to campaign or visit US Territories. The irony and the joke of all of it is her comments that “the island of Puerto Rico is a model for the rest of the Nation.” What? Puerto Rico is the poorest of all “states” (meaning Mississippi) and that is one big reason why Puerto Rico cannot be part of the Union as of right now. The other, that 6-4 ”seat” problem that would affect several states. Puerto Rico has a population of 4 million, crammed in a 100 X 35-mile island. In my opinion, it is unfair and very unjust to take away seats from other states to compensate for a newcomer.
It is common knowledge that Puerto Rico is polled as Democrat, which is very interesting when you consider the amount of Catholics living in the island. My question is: What should the GOP do? What should Conservatives do? Fly there! Get to know the people, talk to them. The people of Puerto Rico have basically the same issues as the United States. They are Americans. They want to be heard too. Puerto Rico can change Conservative if the Republican Party and their leaders get down and do their research. I lived there all my life until recently (if you read way back on my first posts, you’ll know my political opinion on this issue). I can’t remember when a US Republican President has visited the island; yes, I hold in high regard Jon Kyl and Andrew Card-who a lot of Puerto Ricans consider a “friend.”
November 2010 is a do-or-die battle; nothing can be taken for granted, not even a victory. If a person that believes in small government, smaller taxes and kill Obamacare must be left alone, has to go out and vote.
No Thanks, Mr. President. I Lost My Doctor Too.
I just came back from my doctor’s appointment. I am on transition of medications, and my treatment was going well with an excellent doctor that was taking care of me and we focused on our ”game plan.” Unfortunately, I got a letter via snail mail that she could no longer work at the office; she has to leave by the middle of next month.
While at the office, she went on the nitty-gritty of things. Turns out the office is getting barely any reimbursements. They have adjusted the best they could, but she could not continue taking care of her patients. There is no other choice. She added that this is of course, gonna be felt nationwide. Before leaving for good, she squeezed me into another appointment before leaving to get a good amount of time with me before leaving for good.
America, this is what happens when we have a totally clueless president (lowercase on purpose) that believes that everybody must be taken care of the same way as other patients. This is not an effective way to treat any conditions, from minor to critical. Lives are stake; families can be broken if your partner is not well informed, and children will feel the consequences of a patient that is not well-treated. That’s ObamaCare for you.
The consequences of this law so far for me and my family: Cold calling. Yes. I’m gonna be “performing the act” of calling doctors out there, that will take a chance, and risk handling my care. I just know that pretty soon, I will have to “sell my body” to any doctor that might take me. Yep, I will have to whore myself and hope and pray I get to stick around with a doctor for more than six months. Sounds harsh, sounds improper, but what are my chances? With the system broken down like this, how do I know that in three months I might have to change doctors again, because their reimbursements are next to nothing? There’s only two doctors in town that she knows can withstand the whiplash, and one of them is on my “hell no!” list. I can’t see the future with regards of everybodys’ illnesses out there.
Obama just sells himself every second he can to satisfy an ego that rivals Bill O’ Reilly. He’s been doing just that before he kicked off his official campaign for President of the United States. That job is a title, an honor, a privilege that Americans give him to protect us, to make sure we’re safe, to fix the economy, make great efforts to reduce the unemployment level and to -here it comes- spearhead the capitalist system in the country, so that balance is kept. If everything was A-OK, there would not be a TEA Party formed for that wake-up call to action, and Democrats would not have their panties in a wad.
Do you want to feel how socialist healthcare works in this country? Get sick. Watch the news; that will make you seriously depressed. Watch our men and women sacrifice their lives for our freedom outside our boundaries, while liberty and rationality are being attacked from within. Then you will either be “ping-ponged” around like me, or what I expect for the rest of us farther ahead; delays or no treatment for our grandpas and grandmas. Sarah told you so!
God help us all.
