NOTE: (Please scroll below for a very cute YouTube clip of a 2-year old girl watching the “Eclipse” preview while it was unfolding). Cuteness as in, better than YouTube clips of kittens!). ;D
Oprah had us waiting for hours on end, to be able to see the newest movie trailer of “Eclipse”, out on the movie theaters on June 30. There were a lot of “Twilight” fans that were really unsure of this movie, because of all the book series, “Eclipse” is a very intense, action-filled story. I read all the books, I have diverse opinions on them, and I really wish it ended with a trilogy. Below is an embedded YouTube release of the latest trailer; enjoy! PS: I don’t own nor have any rights over this movie, I am sharing with the blogging world that is not directed towards “Twilight” series. Therefore, no responsibilities here.
Stephenie Meyer herself should redo almost the whole thing. In a nutshell, she wrote on the first books all the ground rules that establish how the story should unfold. To my disappointment, with “Breaking Dawn” she broke all the rules. It is very difficult to work with a publisher that wants you to go strictly to a “Young Adult” category, which makes it even harder to write several scenes that require more details, especially when it comes to intimacy. This leaves all of us adults to use tons of imagination, especially in areas where I feel blindfolded and cannot see or picture in my mind the scene in front of me. Let me explain without spoiling anything:
When I grab a book (especially one that will make it to the movies, or I saw the movie, then got the book), it’s like hitting “Play”, and while I read, I can picture if not everything, almost everything. I bet most people read like this, as if they were watching a movie. If it’s a hard-to-put-down book, like the “Twilight” series, I can finish a book in no more than three days. Born a bookworm? Still a bookworm! Of course, when I have to put the book down I hit “Pause”, and that continues until the end. If the storyline starts to become ambiguous, takes you in a direction where the character herself cannot give you any details of what’s going on around her, what are you supposed to do, especially at the cusp of the whole thing? The less description of any surrounding, or a dress, adding a continued and enhanced effort to display the character as annoying as possible is really frustrating. Jasper would work overtime to control Bella’s weird mood swings. Especially when vampires don’t sleep at all, according to Meyer.
I advice any of you that have seen any movie and you feel that there are some flops here and there, please pick up the novel; it’s worth it. It’s extremely hard to find a movie director that will do the this book justice. Therefore, my queasiness for a possible “Breaking Dawn” movie, either in one or two segments.
The only exit I see for a good “Breaking Dawn” movie would be if Peter Jackson, director of the “Lord Of The Rings” series, grabs it. It has to be a very bold, famous movie director that can pull this off. This is just my opinion, of course based on the control and vision of how things should play out, despite the content of the book itself. If you still don’t trust my asessment, click on my link to the left, and read the book reviews. If you don’t follow the series, you won’t understand this thread; if you do, you will be extremely biased and this varies by age.
There are many websites out there, but one that I like a lot is Twilight Lexicon (off of WordPress) that is quite detailed, keeps fans informed and has many clips and videos. There’s where I got this little piece of jewel:

Team Blago?

In a move that has come out of left field, Rod Blagojevich wants Obama to take the stand, and testify with regards to the infamous Illinois’ Senate seat. This has dragged for months on end. Team Blago submitted a subpoena, which was sealed. For whatever reason the “sealing” part was not covered 110%, so we have access to the redaction leaks that Team O will respond to. There are some serious allegations here, and no wonder Team Blago is not letting this one go.
I believe that there are at least two of the six items in the subpoena that might be dismissed, because there is no hard evidence that I can see from Team Blago’s stance (at least that I know of).
Here’s the subpoena. The six issues covered on this subpoena are the following: (Note: Edited, enhanced and italicized by me).
1. Obama may have lied about conversations with convicted fraudster Tony Rezko
Blagojevich’s lawyers allege that Rezko admitted breaking the law by contributing “a large sum of cash” to a public official. Blagojevich’s attorneys say that public official is Obama. Obama said that Rezko never relayed a request from a lobbyist to hold a fundraiser in favor of favorable legislative action. But the point may be moot: regardless of Obama talking/not talking to Rezko, Blagojevich’s attorneys say that Obama refused the request regardless.Redacted footnote: The defense has a good faith belief that this public official is Barack Obama.
2. Obama may have overtly recommended Valerie Jarret for his Senate seat
Blagojevich’s defense team basically alleges that Obama told a certain labor union official that he (Obama) would support Valerie Jarrett’s candidacy for the Senate seat. Jarrett, referred to as “Senate Candidate B”, is now a senior advisor to the president.Labor union official told the FBI and the United States Attorneys “Obama expressed his belief that [Senate Candidate B] would be a good Senator for the people of Illinois and would be a candidate who could win re-election. [Labor union official] advised Obama that [labor union official] would reach out to Governor Blagojevich and advocate for [Senate Candidate B] … [Labor union official] called [labor union president] and told [labor union president] that Obama was aware that [labor union official] would be reaching out to Blagojevich.” (Labor union official 302, February 3, 2009 p. 3).
3. A supporter of President Obama may have offered quid pro quo on a Jarrett senate appointment
Redacted portion: Supporter of Presidential Candidate Obama is mentioned in a phone call on November 3, 2008, having offered “fundraising” in exchange for Senate Candidate B for senator (Blagojevich Home Phone Call # 149).
4. Obama maintained a list of good Senate candidates
Redacted portion: President-elect Obama also suggested Senate Candidate A to Governor Blagojevich. John Harris told the FBI and the United States Attorneys that he spoke to President’s Chief of Staff on November 12, 2008. Harris took notes of the conversation and wrote that President’s Chief had previously worked as Blagojevich’s press secretary. Obama agreed of Staff told Harris that Senate Candidate A was acceptable to Obama as a senate pick. (Harris handwritten notes, OOG1004463) President’s Chief of Staff told the FBI that “he could not say where but somewhere it was communicated to him that” Senate Candidate A was a suggested candidate viewed as one of the four “right” candidates “by the Obama transition team.”
5. Rahm Emanuel allegedly floated Cheryl Jackson’s name for the Senate seat
Redacted portion: President’s Chief of Staff told the FBI that he had a conversation discussing the Senate seat with Obama on December 7, 2008 in Obama’s car. President’s Chief of Staff told the FBI “Obama expressed concern about Senate Candidate D being appointed as Senator.
[President’s Chief of Staff] suggested they might need an expanded list to possibly include names of African Americans that came out of the business world. [President’s Chief of Staff] thought he suggested Senate Candidate E who was the head of the Urban League and with President’s Chief of Staff’s suggestion.
6. Obama had a secret phone call with Blagojevich
Redacted portion: President-elect Obama also spoke to Governor Blagojevich on December 1, 2008 in Philadelphia. On Harris Cell Phone Call # 139, John Harris and Governor’s legal counsel discuss a conversation Blagojevich had with President-elect Obama. The government claims a conspiracy existed from October 22, 2008 continuing through December 9, 2008.6 That conversation is relevant to the defense of the government’s theory of an ongoing conspiracy. Only Rod Blagojevich and President Obama can testify to the contents of that conversation. The defense is allowed to present evidence that corroborates the defendant’s testimony.
So many have screamed from the top of their lungs about impeaching Obama; I just can’t pinpoint if/when/how many cases like this will do it. This is a hot news day, folks. Like Sarah Palin said, “Let’s shake things up in Washington, DC!”

} catch(err) {}It annoys me to no end when Muslim threat Americans/American TV channels/troops, et cetera, et cetera. The latest victim is Comedy Central’s South Park. I don’t like it, I don’t watch it, I believe it’s gotten worse, especially after “The Chef” character had no tolerance for mocking LDS’ faith and quit. Where does freedom of speech starts and ends? I believed there were no boundaries, until now:
For those who missed the drama, the show’s 200th episode last week mocked the one “celebrity” that the series has been largely unable to depict, the Prophet Muhammad, who was hidden from view in a bear costume. A U.S.-based website RevolutionMuslim.com then warned Parker and Stone they could end up like Theo Van Gogh (the Dutch filmmaker who was murdered by Muslim extremists after depicting Muhammad on his show) and even posted the address of the show’s production office. The site has since been shut down.
Last night, “South Park” continued the controversial Muhammad storyline, but with a key difference: every instance of the words “Prophet Muhammad” was bleeped out, making the episode practically incomprehensible, especially to anybody who missed the previous week.
The character of Muhammad was once again also hidden from view, covered by a large block labeled “censored.”
Bill O’Reilly took on the issue. Watch below:
I am sick of us being put down like this, where censorship is needed after getting your point across. Even if I don’t like South Park, that’s what they do, and that’s why I believe they have their followers. What’s happening in America? Now Muslim organizations can threaten, and we bend over and grab our ankles? What kind of country are we becoming?
This all started with being “P.C.”, or not “insult nor offend anyone” with political correctness. Remember Christmas Wars? Easter Wars?
I got a better idea. Watch this YouTube movie clip of “An American Carol” to wake up the lame-stream media because they’re gonna be next. You know it, I know it and these Progressives/Liberals will bend over too-unless they grow some balls to enforce the First Amendment:
